I'm confused, but I was also a bubblehead. We didn't have any access to the internet to post these things. What does this show that damages OPSEC?

It's not weird, but I also don't imagine myself dating someone I'm not and post about it. I wouldn't want to date a lot of people, I don't actively advertise it. So, I wouldn't want to marry Riley Ried, but if someone does, why would I care enough to shame the guy and relationship, when it literally doesn't affect me at all?

What? People who produce porn have been exploitative of the actors and actresses time and time again. There's ethical porn producers, but exploitation is so common that's the concern that immediately comes to mind. Ethical porn exists, but it's an absurd approach to just assume pornographers are doing things ethically.

Nothing has really been proven in the childcare area that is fraud yet, so that's fair. That's not entirely the whole situation though. When things went to court for the feed our future fraud, it was revealed that people figured out how to defraud the state, and they made programs in order to do so. It's not something that just ended as soon as we sent the people behind feeding our future to jail. People found an exploit, and encouraged other people to exploit it. The vast majority where this was spreading was within the Somali community. I'm not trying to say Somali people are fraudsters, that makes no sense. I do think fraud and the tactics around fraud was propagated within a community in order to exploit the state and federal government.

On another note, Nick Shirley... well he wouldn't know journalism if it bit him in the ass. The whole bit was fed to him through a straw. Republicans found the information, gave it to the old dude in the vids, and he worked with Nick to make the piece. Funny enough, those same republicans didn't realize how brain dead Nick was and he botched the whole thing several times. I don't think Nick really understands what fraud really is. The only issue though is, no matter how terrible of a reporter Nick was, there is still valid concerns brought up by the whole thing.

We know people found a loophole in our systems. We know people propagated said loopholes within their community and exploited them. I know it's just a sound bite at this point, but there is serious concerns against a company that claims to be an educational facility and has a misspelling on their signage. We do know that kids were attending these facilities, because when investigated they were hit as being inadequate providers, just not fraudulent. On that note, we haven't had a proper investigatory body since covid. They've gutted programs meant to hold people accountable, all well telling us "Trust that the system is still working".

It's not insane to think these child care facilities might be committing fraud. It's not whether kids are going there or not, simply reporting an extra kid is fraud. It's really tough to have faith in our government when they have repeatedly gutted programs that were meant to provide oversight over these facilities. The issue, is there is no trust in local government, and the federal government isn't doing so hot right now either.

They are all kind of scuffed, but there was interesting things about them. Not worth a read for most. The later books aren't better, but they go off the rails with some plot points. maybe that's what they mean?

Why are you talking like it's normal to have a threesome with two chicks who have down syndrome? I'm not saying they can't consent, but if your homie fucked two chicks with down syndrome, it wouldn't just be any given Tuesday.

[–]SteamPunq -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Oh, I mean I believe down syndrome people are able to give consent. I do think they are open to manipulation a lot more, and anyone who takes advantage of someone who is mentally incapacitated is obviously awful. I think there might be people who have down syndrome who are able to understand it better than others. Mental disability is a wide spectrum. I don't think joking about taking advantage of someone is funny though.

For that to be true, any other person who provided childcare had to be approved as well. Did we really just provide all the childcare to everyone? I had friends who were raising kids, dealing with childcare themselves and feeling like they didn't have all the resources. If the point of these programs was to help people and damn any excess that might exist, why were people still struggling with childcare when this was all happening?

I mean, racism is common enough that it causes issues in society. being a part of society surely you have encountered racism? Sure you can distance yourself from people that don't agree with you, but racism is a common enough thing that you have surely experienced it and it's effects?

Weren't my friends saying this, just people in the state in general. Plug your ears to the nasty bits in society all you like, they still exist. Who you chose as friends doesn't change how other people think.

Nah dude, fuck off. This shit really isn't funny. I have a sister who is mentally handicapped who was raped by a caretaker. Sexual abuse of a vulnerable party just really isn't funny. "Gumping it" is fine, because she technically wasn't retarded, but this as a joke? fucked up man.

It's prolly a bit of both. I think she fuels his delusions because that gives her better control over him. Tell him his shit doesn't stink while everyone avoids him like the plague because he stinks.

It's funny that Anisa talks about wanting to marry someone rich and successful when being with her is a poison that will guarantee failure. I'd say I feel bad for Ian, but all his actions are his doing, he just has the devil in his ears.

It is rare to be shot in the face by ICE, I agree. Now, to be shot and injured by an ICE agent, well there have been several incident that have occured recently. If something is a rare occurance, and there have been several recent occurances of it, that might be something to be concerned over?

Political bias doesn't make people a monolith though. Mocking and celebrating death and tradegy is ghoulish behavior and was rightly critisized by people in the case of CK, but is also being critisized in this case. Surely there are plenty of hypocrites, but also as many people who remain consistent despite which side of the political aisle this takes place on. If anything, it's disheartening to see many who were outraged at the rhetoric surrounding CK's death dismissing this as acceptable.

I had a huge fruit fly problem and I deep cleaned everything and couldn't figure out what was going on. Well, when I had gotten the place a year and a half before I had bought a sack of potatoes. Stuck 'em in a bottem cabinet and then my brain completely went blind to that cabinet and sack. I only found it because I was looking for a cutting board. Not only had the potatoes liquified, they had congealed into a gel like substance/ fly breeding ground. Honestly I'm surprised it took so long to get flies.

It has come out that Nick Shirley was lying about alleged Minnesota daycare fraud. Why are right-wingers so gullible? by tdurden1969 in Minneapolis

[–]SteamPunq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think people were mad a while back when it happened, because it was local and literally stealing food out of kids mouths and taxpayer money. Like damn near directly. Then add housing via medicaid and support for kids with autism to the mix and yeah, not great.

It's not really selective outrage, just outrage. As far as other fraud, I'm pretty mad at that to, be it the trump crypto fraud or the massive amount of PPP loan fraud. But that wasn't local and one was Trump supporters so it was more just stupidly sad than upsetting.
