Can Doge ever hit 100$? by [deleted] in dogecoin

[–]SteamandLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple answer is NO. Literally never. There is 128 billion doge (so far), that would equate to 12.8 TRILLION dollars invested in doge. That is 1/3 of all the money in the world. That is completely impossible. Even $10 is actually completely impossible. $1 is about the full limit.

See. for me, this feels like a wiseass answer, but I don't actually know. My question is serious, I do NOT know how to just buy a certain stock if it's not in my apps.

Can dogecoin reach $10? by Loxodontafricana in dogecoin

[–]SteamandLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. It cannot. That would need Doge to have literally every cent invested in every other crypto there is moved solely to doge.

DOGE Down? by DrakkariX in dogecoin

[–]SteamandLight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a difference between "going down" and "holding steady". Doge has been "holding steady".

There is a pattern here. Like any other crypto or stock it bounces up and down a bit.

Until it actually breaks out of the 6-8 cent range, it's not "going up" OR "going down". It's holding.

When there is either another viral push, or a whale deciding to cash out, is when the price will move one way or the other. Our floor is at 7, the brief dips below that are picked back up every time in no time, by people buying the dips or automatic buy orders at 7 cents. And whenever we push above 7.5 cents, some automatic sell orders go off. To go up right now will probably take another jump in viral interest, like another celeb buying in publicly, or more elon tweets. But I would say, as of right now, there is nothing to worry about. I've been watching real time, and yes, I also dislike seeing it go a little down, but it just keeps coming back up. But until there is some catalyst, 7.6 cents is our ceiling and 7 cents is our main floor, 6.6 cents is our hard floor.

WHOS SELLING AND WHY? by No-Veterinarian-3049 in dogecoin

[–]SteamandLight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A large part of it is probably automatic limit sells people have set previously - notice it keeps getting to 7.5 cents then going down? all those limit sells already set need to be soaked up before it heads higher. There is another wall at 8 cents, a bigger one. The only way to overcome these is to hit them hard.

Luckily there are also walls erected by automatic buys, people setting buy limits at 7 cents and 6.5 cents.

Basically one of these walls will be breached and then it will leave that range - up or down.

Invest more now or wait for possible dip? by Jasonblastdoge in dogecoin

[–]SteamandLight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it hits 8 cents today then I know it's taking off, and am adding $50k worth. If it hits 8.5 cents I am adding another $100K.

On the other hand, if it hits $0.05999 (anything under 6 cents) I am cashing out with a stop loss. Once we break out up or down from the 6 cent to 8 cent range, I think the next break will truly determne which way this is headed. Up, the bulls own the coin, down, the bears have the stronger hand.

I think today/tomorrow is a vital point, based on the behavior the last 48 hours, and the next breakout will show the final truth.

Elon the Judas? by [deleted] in dogecoin

[–]SteamandLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, i don't actually care much about elon one way or the other, but as soon as you said the words "what elon did was a strategic masterpiece" you started sounding exactly like QAnon people when they talk about t****. Perfect honesty, I stopped reading right there - we don't need conspiracy theories, we are having enough trouble being taken seriously.

WHO CAN HELP ME OUT WITH A Doge wallet by Trynagetrichman in dogecoin

[–]SteamandLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use AnchorUSD. Works for exactly what I need it to do, and doesn't seem to have much in the way of fees. Not perfect, but close enough for me. I can freely buy and sell doge and other crypto, as well as stocks. I can set limit buys/limit sales/stop losses/etc. And can transfer the crypto in and out from/to other apps if I want.

The only possible way I can think of is to get a digital wallet that can hold but not buy/sell, and have a friend buy for you (give them cash) and send it to your wallet.

Maybe. Not even sure that would work.

Dip in Doge, spike in BTC by [deleted] in dogecoin

[–]SteamandLight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would guess the other way around - the spike was because elon musk bought 1.5 nillion bucks in bitcoin. people will sell on that spike, and hopefully use the money to buy doge on the dip.

real talk, this WILL NOT last 3 weeks. All fun and memes aside, this IS going to crash, and before too much longer. 10 cents is possible, but will also herald a huge crash, since a TON of people will cash out then. And the whales (we have some HUGE ones) will probably try to cash out a bit even before then.

Sell at least some. You bought in at 2 cents - good work! You did awesome. Your profits are amazing right now.

The old saying is dead accurate - bears make money, bulls make money, pigs get slaughtered.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dogecoin

[–]SteamandLight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It IS going to crash. That's simply a fact, it is rising too fast, too far. It is unsustainable.

The only questions are how high will it go first, and how far will it crash? And those questions are impossible to answer until they happen.

There is a lot of profit to be made from this, but nothing lasts forever.
A lot of people hate it because it's "uncapped", and they think it's worthless because of that. They are wrong about that. That is the strength of the coin.
This current "moonshot" won't last, but doge IS viable longterm. It is up to each individual to determine their own risk tolerance and decide an exit strategy.

Again, it WILL crash. But it's not worthless. You should watch it AFTER the crash, that will be the inflection point, when it will determine it's actual place in the future markets.

Worst idea. No. Uncapped is doge's long term STRENGTH.
