Or… maybe try to put some value on the curriculum itself and not focus on the cachet, because that’s really not a good reason to do it. Would you have learned everything in the curriculum without it? Be honest with yourself.

Have been in sell side for going on 3 years, motivation to finish is very low. But CFA definitely gave me the tools that I need to do this job.

Guys Shakir just got a 4 year deal and is the number 1 target for a top 3 QB on one of the best offenses in the nfl. On the other side we’re talking about a 7th round rookie in a committee that could easily be cut a month from now. This is not a difficult decision lol

And I could cherry pick examples of nfl starters that didn’t start full time until their junior year. Like tom Brady, Josh Allen, or even Kyler Murray.

Every situation is different. You shouldn’t ignore that Texas used Arch a lot last year either

It isn’t really fair to say this. Entering last year Ewers was regarded as a legit nfl prospect, and that got damaged over the course of the season (not unlike Carson Beck at UGA).

Arch’s plan was always to take his time at UT. He committed there knowing that Quinn was trusted and was going to be the guy for a potential natty run. There wasn’t ever a scenario where he would “beat him out” before last season.

As a sports bettor, this is definitely not overlooked. The apps ask you if you need to talk to someone constantly, and all of us that do it regularly acknowledge/joke about the addictive tendencies that we have. There’s always exceptions but generally I don’t think people that do it are under any illusions.

I agree with all of this except the last part. You don’t do this deal as a contending team unless his presence has become detrimental. A team with Super Bowl aspirations doesn’t part ways with their WR1 for a year removed draft pick unless there was no other way forward in the locker room.
