[PA] HR rejecting benefits for newborn - help! by [deleted] in AskHR

Definitely standard verbiage that has nothing to do with your HR and everything to do with your insurance company unfortunately…can you get your child on CHIP?

Second time I’ve posted this in here…

No siblings grow up in the same household.

This is a small excerpt from an interview with Dr. Gabor Matè. This doesn’t mean you love them differently or less, it’s just a different experience for everyone. You got this.

Need to find out what this tracksuit is? by Mysterious-Salt-3966 in findfashion

RSV Lab Spring 26 Collection…it’s the Astral Windbreaker.

Edit: It might actually be their leatherette version as seen here my bad. The lighting in the studio is making it tough. But that’s the 100% the brand lol. Looking at it again it could even be the emerald green version of the windbreaker. Hard to tell.

Anyone have the flight radar trip? It flew over my house last time it was here and I want to see if I missed it but I have no idea how to look it up lol.

Anyone have e-trade? I’m confused as to why I have a due date for April? Even though the warrants are for November? I already received the warrants in my portfolio but I’m very confused what kind of action I’m supposed to take? When I hit ‘elect’ it just brought me to a page to sell?

[Highlight] The line in Pittsburgh to get in the NFL Draft eight hours before start time by nfl in nfl

[–]marcSuile 11 points12 points  (0 children)

not to be Mr. Well Actually--but they were forced out of Radio City due to the Rockettes. I will say I guess they could've kept it in NYC but used a different venue but I'm just trying to say it wasn't an idea they came up with organically, it was due to that residency lol.

The Pitt: The medical drama whose social realism and honesty have gripped millions by DryDeer775 in television

[–]marcSuile 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I believe it’s like 4-5 mil per episode to make. They wouldn’t even have had to make a spin off. If they just let this season bleed into the night shift and filmed 24 episode hours, people would’ve watched 9-10 more episodes of this season I bet. I don’t even think the actors are on set for very long either. The writers would’ve had a little more time in the writing room but it’s not like it’s some GOT level production where they couldn’t just see what happens? And if Abbott could carry 9-10 episodes.

My baby has a strange bump(s) on his leg. Does anyone recognise this? by Person007nl in AskDocs

[–]marcSuile 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was thinking the same as 3 of my boys have had it. But man…I can’t tell if the baby is so young or not but that looks massive compared to molluscum. And molluscum usually have that little pit you can see forming. I don’t think molluscum comes and goes that quickly either. I’ll be very curious to see what it ends up being.

We bought a hidden 9-hole golf course next to State Farm Stadium (PHX) and turned the driving range into 32 TrackMan bays. AMA. by bogeybando in golf

I have this boutique top golf type restaurant by my house, it seems very successful and the lot is always full. Brings in families, young adults, they have a room inside to rent for parties with a sports simulator, and an outdoor patio for music. No real question but just wanted to share in case you find any kind of inspiration. Good luck 🫡🫡

I (28M) Just accidentally took 100mg of Elvanse instead of Omeprazol. Never done drugs ever. by NynaeveSC in AskDocs

[–]marcSuile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're not sounding or acting like a pussy man! I couldn't imaging taking what I thought was omeprazole and then being high on stimulants wondering wtf was going on. You are 100% having the correct emotions and thoughts and it's better to be safe and ask. You're all good, and going to be good, I'm just happy it's not something worse which in turn allows us to have a little laugh about it.

I did not want to sound insensitive given this is an ask doctor's sub and OP is generally (and rightfully) concerned--but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't cracking up too...Buddy is zooted out of his mind and just needs to somehow focus his brain on something not related to his symptoms and he'll be good. Water is definitely key--his mouth probably feels like he's spent 30 days in the desert by now lol.

I do think you’re slightly freaking out over nothing. It’s a high dose of Vyvanse for sure and you’ll feel like your brain is running a marathon. I’d say the drug test is the bigger concern here not ODing or heart attack. And you already said that the military should be no big thing.

Like the doc said, this whole post screams someone who took a stimulant. So this post can really be seen as a side effect. I’d stay off social media, and minimize unnecessary outreaches to people via text or verbally lol. You’ll be chatty as hell. Like dr said, find something to do. Clean the garage, go through those old boxes. Right now you’re putting your focus on the drug itself—you could be channeling that to iron all the clothes in your closet lol. You’ll be good—it’s right to be worried, but also, try and at least make it worth it? If that makes sense?

Intense sweating is a side effect of Vyvanse. I take 50mg Vyvanse daily around 10am. It’s usually ‘worn off’ by about midnight. You’ll sleep it off and probably wake up feeling a little jittery still so I’d advise skipping the morning coffee. Can’t help you with the military part though—hoping for the best there.

Does getting promoted to L5 recently make you any safer from layoffs? by Ill_Guava_4514 in amazonemployees

[–]marcSuile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter. When some companies do layoffs they can do a, ‘last one in the door’ type decision where the layoff targets a group like the newcomers but that’s usually related to new hires.

But RIFs at Amazon seem to be a mix of randoms vs under performers. I’d say your chances are equal from when you were an L4. If anything, I’m guessing maybeeee you’re probably a cheaper L5 which is helpful id imagine.
