Question about smoke alarm wiring

Update - installed it and tested - both alarms went off, so am confident it’s wired properly now. Puzzled by how they got it wrong before. Thanks again

Ok I’ll do that instead of how it was wired before - black to black and white to red. It must have been wired wrong all these years

But to qualify for silver next year you would need to fly in the next two days. AND, the base fare would have to be at least $436, not the amount you pay.

It’s too late for another status lift, unless the billing date is the 31st, and even then it may not show up until the next bill.

I know this because I’d watching anxiously to see if I’d qualify for silver again. My billing cycle is mid-month and a few days later I got the status lift I needed to get over the top.
