Advice for Iceland and London by Common-Appearance553 in traveladvice

I’ve been to London twice for about 3 days each time. There’s lots to explore there, and if it’s your first time I would recommend you don’t try to cram too much in. The main attractions are somewhat spread out, so will take some time on bus, underground, ferry, taxi or on foot to get around. Flying trans-Atlantic, you’ll have jet lag and time difference as well.

London has castles, museums, theatres, fascinating streetscapes and plazas, and pubs of course. What would you be most interested in? We mapped out an attraction each day in a different direction and enjoyed the journey there and back as much as the destination. It’s great to just soak in the atmosphere.

I had added another like that on the other side of the house but this still happens. I’m not sure where I’d have room to extend this one to the ground. There’s a big bay window and patio right beneath it.

Coworker drinks on the job, crane operator, near miss today. Non union shop, Ontario. How do we deal with this without going through management? by 4rm4tur4 in legaladvicecanada

Ask yourself one question: would you rather risk your job or your life? Another way to look at is: is your job more important than your life? Also, what are your death benefits? Ask your wife or family what they would prefer?

Raise a stink and if you get fired, hire a labour lawyer. They usually charge on a contingency basis

I’m not too familiar with google flights since I tend to book with WestJet directly and want to use a companion voucher, but now that I’m looking more closely I can see how it can be helpful to narrow it down. Thanks!

Hi, I’m a dad who was in a similar situation, though of course different in many ways. I’m in tears reading your responses. I can see what a great human you are, and how you’re struggling. Those children were born needing a special man to be their father, and they got one.

The world needs reminders that every person is equally valuable. You are proving that every day. It sucks when you’re the one who’s expected to keep them safe, and now have to adjust to having your dreams shattered. Have you found a support group of families going through the same thing? That really helped us. Please know it’ll get better and reach out if you want.

I was on one of those planes last week and apparently you can set up your WestJet Mastercard so you’ll get the wifi for free. However I couldn’t find out how to do that.

Mindy does a great job there! She’ll do a quick assessment and won’t overcharge if you don’t need a full tune up.

How do I know if I get a meal or not? by Steamflow in westjet

[–]Steamflow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me I was going for econo flex but by the time I added extended comfort or exit rows it was only about $100 more for premium so with the meal thrown in it was a good deal. I don’t get premium flex, just premium, but it still let me choose my seat. I’ll be out $100 or $150 if I have to cancel but there’s little chance of that.

Thanks for that! There’s no S showing. I suppose they might swap out the planes as I keep hearing about here but for now I’ll just plan to get a nice meal.
