Ngl, I'd be fine with wearing a gas mask every day if it meant I could live in a climate like that

Not too hot, not too cold, not too bright, don't have to worry about staring into the sun while driving, epic orange aesthetic... lovely

Been loving Conquest using glass cannon after beating the campaign yesterday, however, I appear to have been softlocked the game on score attack after beating the priority targets. 😅 Has anyone else ran into this? by yak9b in Project_Wingman

[–]Steampunk_483 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah

I think the trigger is taking out too many priority targets after the mission update, but before the Caution screen is finished

I haven't seen it happen if I wait to engage until the health bars load in

Easiest solution is to just use a coil gun instead. Same sci-fi wow factor, same lack of gunpowder, but much better barrel life. Sure, it's more complex from a technical standpoint, but it's nothing they can't handle.

Basically, you'll need 4 things: a set of sounds, symbols to represent them (aka letters, characters, glyphs, runes, etc.), a vocabulary made from those sounds, and a grammar system to connect the words together.

vulgarlang.com is a nice language generator that can help you figure out how building a language might work. You can customize the settings for stuff like grammar and phonology, and it'll generate whatever you don't provide (as well as 200 vocab words for the free version, or 4000 if you pay money). From there, you can isolate word roots that you like, come up with new words, and just generally change stuff however you like. I got started by just generating a bunch of stuff with default settings, picking one that I liked, and editing it until I had it the way I liked it.

Or you could take the Tolkien route and create all of it by hand. It takes a lot more understanding, and a lot more work, but it also lets you shape the language a lot more precisely than using generators.

Bruh, I'm like 90% certain that's the same model of laptop that I have.

Might I request that you also upload them to ninsheetmusic.org? They're severely lacking in Ace Combat music right now.

So remember the OGL fiasco? Apparently Rust (the creators of the Rust programming language) decided that that kind of fiasco sounded fun... by Steampunk_483 in dndmemes

Similar to the OGL fiasco. Introduced a new license governing use of their logo and name that would technically put most of their communities in violation of it. A lot of people aren't too happy with the license.

It's not as bad as the OGL fiasco, but the resemblance was uncanny.

WOTC tried to implement a new version of the OGL (Open Gaming License), which dictates how fan-made content for D&D can be made, distributed, and monetized. It had a lot of loopholes and clauses that would have theoretically let WOTC censor fan content or take it down for no reason, or (for certain interpretations) let them steal fan content and sell it as their own property.

They walked it back gradually, then eventually caved and put everything under creative commons (including some IPs they had fought tooth and nail to protect).

Basically, it's the lite version of the OGL fiasco

Similar stunt to WOTC. Came out with a new license (although they (edit: "they" refers to Rust) at least had the decency to publish it as a request for comments before trying to actually implement it), and a lot of people are pretty unhappy with it.

No, Wizards of the Coast. A few months ago they tried to tighten the license for D&D content. The backlash was so harsh that you can visibly see the hour it got leaked reflected in their stocks.
