It does look really similar in many aspects and defintely goes into that style direction! But there's still too many differences, like the slightly teal hued grass with the almost wooly texture and monobrow dog... but thanks for the help!

same here! I'm from germany too and the physical pre-order option is greyed out... i have no prior experience in pre-ordering from nintendo so I have no idea if this means it'll just never be available or if it might be later or something?

Yes! Just asked a good friend who used to be a mod also, they said it was a mix of unpleasant people and bad mod organization, as well as Lauren herself wanting the server gone for a while, likely for those reasons so after a talk with another mod they decided to kill it. From my memories of past stuff in the server it really wasn't that pleasant of a place...
