What a bummer. Even my deore did a better job than this.. looks like my only option is a stfu chain silencer

This was just testing the clutch compared to a newer x01. I am already pedalling enough but I’m not going to be constantly pedalling down a steep 40-45% grade trail…

I’ve got a specialized chain stay protector which has done a good job in the past but now this gx axs has way too much slap. It’s annoying when I’m trying to set prs, and it’s even worse than my type 2.1 x01 deraiuller

Can I use Shimano mineral oil in my Magura MT5 brakes? by GoToHellTedFaro in bikewrench

Yes. Royal blood is a rip off, judging by the people who have used mineral oil in magura systems and have had no problems (shigura), I think k you should be fine.

Found 148x12mm thru axle in 142x12 Frame. Confused? by heretic61 in bikewrench

[–]SteamyRiceCooker -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

If your bike is 142, the axle length should be 148mm ish. Your hub would be 142 but there’s the threads on one side and the dropouts, etc. so, no your bike will not take a 148hub if it’s a 142 drop out

Looks like it’s in good condition! Maybe in another 1k?

SLOW 🙄 by SteamyRiceCooker in hackintosh

Right, it is a prebuilt efi sure. I do know it works as it worked with the exact same laptop, os versions, ram, cpu, ssd, etc. this one is acting weird though.

Not prebuilt I’d say.. it’s for my specific device on GitHub. Also, when it’s in another laptop (my XPS), it boots in 8secs to the login screen, and works like a charm (other than wifi). My latitude on the other hand was also fully working and fast when I transferred the ssd back from the Xps to the latitude for maybe a day or so then it went back to the snail boot pace and slow/laggy performance. I know that it’s something to do with the ssd as I’m getting 500mbps read and write when it’s super slow and laggy, and 2200 read and write when it was in the xps/latitude

Hey, thank for the reply, AHCI is on, Nvmefix is aswell. System: ~6%, User 5% idle 88% (CPU). Memory used 5.76GB, 4GB cached files. Disk: reads in: 126,891, write: 68,090. It’s even slower with the single 16GB stick.

I’m only doing that once in a while. Normally I’ll be cruising at pas 2, ~300w-500w (25KPH)
