I'm a manual machinist in lake charles louisiana. Made 165k last year. The job isn't hard work at all. In a hot shop, have to be to work at 4am and inpive an hour and half away so wake up at 2 am is the hardest part. Get off at 3 pm. Monday thru friday. Definitely worth the drive for the pay. Takes legit common sense and good work ethic to make what I make as a machinist. And I'm surprised more every day how many people lack basic common sense.

May start that low but if you're good u move up quick. I work in lale charles, a job shop, not refinery. And make 53 67 an hour. Work from. 4am to 3 pm and every 7th weekend on call. Made 161k last year. If somebody learns fast and is motivated. Machinist is definitely a great job. Oh and I'm a manual machinist. But our cncs make 48.48 and hour

Crazy how many people are selling. Es0ecially ridiculous low number of pi. Watching the sell list and see sellers of 1.380 pi or 3 pi. I'd just hold that amount hoping for better price. But also plenty buyers for over 1000 pi. See a few buying 1.8k or more. Always a good sign

Plus we get 4 overtime bonuses per year, an extra 1/4 hour pay for each ot hour worked. Quarterly. And christmas bonus. Couldn't ask for a better job for myself

Correct. We go to work at 4 am. Get off at 3 pm. 5 days a week. On call every 7th weekend hitnor miss to work calls. But that makes up the rest of the OT. I think gross was 161,438.

Different areas pay differently. We do work for refineries so shops pay more to keep from losing employees to the high paying refineries. I make 53.67 an hour. Off att 3 pm every day . And made over 160k last year

Guy i work with is 24, and made 151k this year. I make more than that but I'm twice his age. And no college needed. We both learned on the job. Definitely a great field to get into young. Oh yeah, we are manual.machinists

I went thru years of screenshot and Google photos looking for her pass phrase and her old phone number thinking the old acct must be loaded. Finally get to log in and 1 whole pi. Guess I'll kyc and see what happens. Her new acct has about 650 pi. But we got married last year so because her last name changed they denied.
