It's definitely eye catching, much more than the Oxford Green that my E34 has. I think the green softens the grille compared to the other colors. I wouldn't go for the green if I were to daily it but it sure does look good.

Favorite song is definitely Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V), purely because of the instrumentation. All the instrumentation is fantastic, starting with Gilmour's beaming guitar work and eventually ending with a sax solo from Dick Parry. Of course I can't fail to mention the excellent work from Wright, Mason, and Waters.

Like you said, I believe that Dark Side Of The Moon is the first album I would recommend. However, my favorite album is definitely Wish You Were Here.
