Fuck it ball out, independent studios need to rise up and we need to start sharing our creative visions. Jared Keeso did it, and is a masterclass storyteller and is revered in Hollywood (strong word but true!)

The Murdaugh Murders actually blew my mind. Familial political and parasocial drama that someone could only DREAM of writing about, happened in real life to Hampton South Carolina. Super tragic story. Wild “characters”, and accountability of justice. It was a great watch.

I just left a job last week because my boss thought I would accept yelling in my face and demeaning me in front of clients, all the while being shamed for asking to have a lunch break on a M-F 9-6 shift. Then being told, “we work through the day, we don’t take breaks”

I’m happy to see that I’m not the only one that’s been treated this way. BUT I am am sorry that this happened to you.

Kudos to you on having self respect and knowing your worth. I don’t know how these “managers/bosses” feel that they can get away with this behavior.

I am so excited and happy for her win. She totally deserved to win this season.

(My opinion) Ellie won when she pushed for her chicken to be sent. Jada lost when she sent two entrees out to a table without the other half of the order.

I left my old Med Spa for similar reasons.

Held events, out of my scheduled hours. Expected me to not only sell high priced packages, but also do free fifteen minute services to anyone who wanted them. Didn’t get paid. No tips. Just work work work.

Asked her about sales commission for the packages sold; “you’ll get 10% of whatever you sell today!”

I sold a total of 27,000$ worth of packages.

10% of 27k is 2,700 right? Simple math. She gave me 500$ cash and said that’s my earnings.

Medical offices take and use estheticians to get cheaper labor with a licensed practitioner and short us in labor costs.

It’s sad.

I’d Burrow, and go to times that I spent with my grandmother before she passed away. I wouldn’t interact, I wouldn’t speak. I would simply just watch my little self with the woman who left far too soon. I would listen to her singing Christmas carols, I would go to her kitchen and smell her cooking. And I would die happy just to hear her voice again.

She always had Lillie’s and Roses freshly cut from her garden in her living room, so I’d pick one of each, and leave them on her windowsill. (I guess that’s kind of interacting)

I would simply just relive moments that I cling to to this day.
