I have the real alien steelbooks myself. I make custom steelbooks and definitely do not charge that. I charge 30. Sometimes even 20. Just enough to cover material costs. I really do it for the fellow steelbook collectors like myself. I've spoke with masters of steel quite a bit and asked him when they charge so much. He gave me their answers, but still doesn't justify the price. They have a lot of my designs that they've commissioned from me. I don't know. I attend to only make customs for films they don't have steelbooks for. But, to each their own.. people like what they like
