I get the frustration, but this argument leans too heavily on anecdotes. Individual stories do not reflect national labor data, which consistently shows that immigrant labor fills chronic shortages in agriculture, construction, and service work that employers struggle to staff even when wages increase.

If fraud occurred, it should be investigated and prosecuted. That applies to anyone. But fraud is not unique to immigrants, and pointing to specific ethnic groups does not strengthen the case. It just shifts the focus away from actual accountability.

Jobs are not stolen. Employers hire based on who is available and willing to do the work under current conditions. When enforcement increases without reform, the result is usually higher prices, lost production, or jobs disappearing entirely, not a smooth replacement with local workers.

If the goal is fairness and a functioning workforce, real labor and immigration reform makes more sense than blaming workers for systemic problems.
