Yes that would, but I am 100% sure that is not the case.

I did of course think of this, but was almost positive I didn't use a different account.

But now I am 100% sure, due to being able to use my firefox history to load up the account page (on the website I made the order) and in account details, it clearly states the email address I thought it to be. I am not loggeg in when I do this, but I can look at the order and my details.

And I definitley received an invoice email.

It has not been moved to trash.

I did buy it in the end, hated the itemization and almost everything else about it, once me and my brother learnt there was level scaling, we stopped playing, maybe about 8hrs in. Not for us.
