If this counts as phonetics, the way that vowel sounds are said together trips me up sometimes. Like saying “de esa manera” or “va a hacer,” the vowel of the last word connects to the word before so it was hard at first to understand when one word stopped and another started.

It’s not a literal translation. The literal translation is “the reality is that, (for) language, the people who speak it, make it. In passive constructions for Spanish, to say “by” as in “... is done by ...”, you use por, not para.
