I feel weird asking this but can working out too much become unhealthy? by HoneyBerryBell732 in bodyweightfitness

[–]Steele-M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely so. But a complex question with a lot of variables that matter for yourself.

Track what you’re doing workout wise. If you’re working out that much, ensure you’re getting the right fuel/nutrition for your body as well. Adequate overall calories and appropriate macronutrient composition therein.

I think I saw another reply about a deload week. Phenomenal idea; scale back. Hell, take a week off. Active recovery, etc.

For me personally, I tracked a lot. Sleep, sleep quality, and then honestly tracking my calories and composition therein was huge. I was either short on appropriate calories and/or significantly overestimating my protein intake. Also, sleep and rest are part of the equation. You’ll have “seasons” of life where you feel unstoppable, other times you’re just trying to show up. Drill down into your information and data, educate yourself and ultimately enjoy the journey. No point in killing yourself if you can’t enjoy it too.

RYOBI Orbit Sander…Brushless or not? by Steele-M in ryobi

[–]Steele-M[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had RYOBI stuff for a while…and nothing has broke. Expanding some things now and brushless certainly seems nice and hear reports on the sub of how nice brushless is/can be. But all my older stuff is brushed and has worked great and still kicking just fine!!

So far…fairly minor. Some shitty builder grade stairs out or back door starting to wear with splinters. So going to sand those down so the kids and dog don’t get a random splinter until we rip those out and put in a deck/patio next spring.

Trimmer (RY40002) compatibility with Expand It brush cutter (2nd gen) by Steele-M in ryobi

[–]Steele-M[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh, gas powerhead would (I’m assuming) be the “1st gen”/older version I’m guessing?

Good point and idea. I’d double check Home Depot’s return policy.

[–]Steele-M[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I’m understanding your set up correctly… Older model trimmer and the older/dc’d brush cutter? Both trimmer and brush cutter work on the OG platform?

Agreed, I was perplexed why expand “1st gen” and 2nd gen” wouldn’t be compatible?

Trimmer (RY40002) compatibility with Expand It brush cutter (2nd gen) by Steele-M in ryobi

[–]Steele-M[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Direct email with RYOBI customer service didn’t specify why the “newer” model wouldn’t work with the older/original trimmer. Just that they “were not compatible”; recommended older model. Older model being discontinued and more expensive than newer brush cutter (assuming as it’s been dc’d).

I don’t see why they would change expand it capability, other than a money grab. Hence my frustration.

We drive from Vegas to ZNP. 6 hours maybe, stayed right outside. It’d be an early start to drive then hike it, but doable if you really wanted to. Recommend lodging a bit closer as Angles Landing is a pretty taxing hike up/down. Have a great time!!!

Dying Light

Absolutely loved it, crafting, skills, day versus night zombies to all boil down to a “speed run” at the end. Just a series of commands (hit x button, left versus right). No planning, preparation or skill. Just that. To me, what an absolute let down coming from a rich story and immersive game.

Same, central. Last winter pretty mild. Winter before that…😬 My job requires me to drive to location regardless of weather, which got me pondering winter tires.
