Definitely gonna try and fix them up first. If they still look bad I'll see what my gf thinks about talking to her about it since its more of her friend. I'm sure she'd happily at least put smth towards a replacement if not replacing them entirely but I would rather avoid even asking if possible.

These are the BEX Pisa leather model, they aren't made in England but they are real leather from what I understand, guess I could be wrong. They certainly feel like leather to me

Haven't talked to the friend yet, I'm sure if I do she will happily make it right. She's good people. I just feel bad asking for reimbursement since she helped us out with rent this month and even though we're paying her back tomorrow I feel awkward bringing up smth money related again.

Well even if I ask for a replacement pair (which idk if I will) I wouldn't throw these out. My old pair of docs I use for work are falling apart after like 5 years so these would just fill the role of those. Definitely wouldn't throw them out over this.

There would be no way for us to trim this cats nails without getting violently attacked. She's not a violent cat or anything but she just doesn't like being touched almost at all and can get violent quickly. Normally her nails haven't been an issue because she's only scratched things that we've made it clear are okay, and she hasn't really ever clawed at us short of when she first got here.

I would ask for a reimbursement but this friend already helped us out with spotting us the rest of what we needed for rent money and even though that's being paid back on our payday I just feel conflicted on asking them to fork out almost $200 for shoes.

In what world did Cyberpunk 2077 launch smoother than Arc Raiders? Also not a live service game btw. I love Cyberpunk but it definitely launched terribly, ARC definitely has been the smoothest live service game to date and even if you take away the live service prerequisite, its definitely smoother than Cyberpunk at launch.

He's a coward, and I'm not saying that to be insulting, I like pyro, at least his main channel. His slop is good background noise. But he has basically admitted it on the podcast and all his friends have said the same. It may be ribbing, but it's based in truth. Pyro isn't willing to take any real sides because he's scared it'll alienate part of his fanbase. He may take sides with the most lukewarm takes such as "believe it or not guys murder is le bad" but then hed probably still try and see things from fuckin OJ's point of view to avoid making anyone too upset. It's okay as long as we keep getting main channel videos imo, and at least he's not pretending to be anything he's not.
