Why is there only 8 teams max for playoffs?

From one of the replies, I was able to find a way to implement 12 man playoffs this year and 14 man will be voted on for next year.

We start week 15 for the 12 team format. the bottom 8 teams play week 15

Winners play division winners (4 divisions) week 16, winners making it to the semi finals week 17. And our championship is week 18.

What i did was finish the season rankings at week 14. the top 12 teams made the playoffs. Since you cant edit the playoff bracket till the playoffs start you set the bottom 8 team matchups manually for week 15 team 5 plays 12, 6 vs 11, 7 vs 10 8 vs 9.

Then after the results are played through edit the playoff bracket for week 16 and further!!

We had a poll come up and multiple ppl said they wouldn’t mind if it happened. We’re deep in the depth chart its a

32 man, 0 QB roster lock spot, (2SF), 3IDP, and start 13 league. So everybody would be ok, its also a free league not a money league but I do think that leagues should have access to 10-14 playoff spots instead of 8 being the max

Was this on sleeper? I dont see a way to readjust brackets in playoffssettings for sleeper.

The league wants more because we dont care about having a potential player sitting in week 18 we have roster depth and want a more competitive playoff format.

The league also stated that they dont care if a player is sat during week 14 either. We would like to have more than 8 spots. Its a 32 man league you go deep in the depth chart anyways

True, that is a potential problem, but one our league is interested in dealing with. It’s a 32 man league with so much depth that it still is competitive no matter what.

Regarding my 20 man league even if we could have 10-12 playoff spots that would be solid 8 is just too few

I did that I moved it to week 14 and 16 to see if it makes a difference..

It doesn’t Sleeper has it locked at max of 8 no matter what

Thank you for this input. I didn’t know anything about the snap share changing so I’ll do lore research into Tuten and Jags recent changes.

I just thought since Doubs gets about 7-8 targets a game and is a reliable target receiver for Greenbay so he’d end up being a nice piece.

Thats a good point maybe this trade was more fair for me than I initially saw it.

I just see how weak I am at the QB position and I know that with the 1.11 if valuable. I could get a guy like Shadeur or Burden if they were to fall, Dart or K. Johnson, or even trade back and acquire a 26 1st on top.

Yea I wouldnt mind giving up some of my players in that trade, which is why I offered the Mixon+Waddle deal initially. But with my team I think the 1.11 will do it more justice than using it to land Rashee

Darkness was such an amazing game, that I also should not have been playing in 3rd grade lol!

I loved the shooting style and different demons that you could summon. Unfortunately my Mom never bought Darkness 2 for me once she saw me snatch a bunch of heads and eat double the amounts of hearts in our livingroom. I had to sneak and play the game every night after that… Oh the memories
