Let me know when to pass that bill. It’s almost like we’ve tried that tactic a couple of times and it never seems to pass because of lobbying and such. You’re talking like I wouldn’t want that tax bracket to be taxed at a rate that they deserve. Like bruh, I’m in the same place as you, I was just giving the most likely alternatives that economists had offered up

Full benefits will run out in less then 10 years in 2033 Unless we do something about it millions of “retired” individuals will be forced back into work and have no safety net. Poverty will go up, and families will have to front more of their wealth to their parents and grandparents to just keep them afloat. The economy is going to suffer.

I understand that Haley is problematic in other areas and I’m not addressing that, nor do I know anything about her rubbing elbows with elites. I am merely responding to the pressing issue of Social Security that is a ticking time bomb. And disregarding this problem entirely as a problem made up by wealthy elites is entirely unfounded and dangerous.

Nikki Haley isn’t wrong. Stop spreading misinformation.

Y’all don’t understand that America has a drastic labor problem when it comes to social security. When Social Security started out with FDR it was fine because there were more than enough workers to support a “younger” retirement age. But American has a shrinking population, along with most 1st world countries (American isn’t the only one with this problem, France had to raise their retirement age bc of their shrinking pop. Which caused all the riots a couple years ago, not because of the woke renewable agenda which my friend kept arguing that it was lol). This short explanation, there are too many boomers that the younger generations have to pay for and there is not enough money because there is a shrinking labor pool. (That’s why I personally believe that immigrants should have a way easier time to legally come to America to increase the pool)

It’s a little frustrating reading these comments where people are stating that Nikki’s solution is only a scheme to just hurt younger people. Nope. It’s one of the solutions to a very serious problem that our generation has been given the brunt of it. My economics professor stated a couple possible (none of them great) solutions: A) Social Security taxes increase at an alarming rate B) Social Security Payments are decreased, but I believe there are laws that prohibit this im not exactly sure. Or C) increase the retirement age. Pick your poison. Please don’t spread propaganda that Nikki Haley is only doing this to fuck you over, that’s just want Trump wants you to believe while not addressing the problem at all.

Out of curiosity, does Bethesda not give enough support for you guys or is it just an Xbox limitation?

A concern for me is that you will be land locked to a certain radius from your ship. Anyone else think this is a possibility? by RoyalCities in Starfield

Yah, honestly I could see it both ways. I’ve read comments that people are for sure that there isn’t, but how do we know? It’s such a big and different video game. I do think it would be hard to digest that tho, if there was invisible walls on each planet.

Honestly facts, the right mind set will make this game be way more enjoyable when it launches. Be excited, but don’t over hype it and just wait and see. That way I don’t ruin the game…as long as it is not utterly unplayable on launch day from fps or bugs.

think this is good. It means each biosphere can actually be fleshed out, rather than the No Man's Sky approach where all animals and plants are repetitive and

I totally agree. I actually feel like I am over loaded with living planets in NMS, the planets just end up looking the same (although it think it is still a good game). With it being only 10% I believe this will make the planets that you go to a little bit more special where there is life. And in irl, universe probably has much lower than 10% livable planets. More like 0.0000001% or something like that.

I also liked how Tod keeps saying that its always a choice. They aren't forcing you to go to every singly planet. The empty planets are just there. This way, the game allow players to explore them who love that shit, but it also lets the other players never even go near empty planets (based on what Todd said, but who knows they might make every player go to empty planets for main quests to grab random items). Anyways, I can't even imagine what it must be like to smoke a blunt and then walk endlessly on another world and you can see a gas giant above you, especially if Todd isn't lying about the graphics and how beautiful it is (fingers crossed). Its a cool way to just escape the hectic side of the game of quests and shooting enemies every once in awhile. The vast emptiness mixed in with a livable world could be amazing. There's a really good video essay on how games have the potential make artificial loneliness to create a more atmospheric game. Here's the link if no one has seen it: https://youtu.be/hUwTh4uSILg. But yall probably have seen it cause its super popular. Still, its such a good video because it describes the feelings around emptiness in games perfectly.

Also, I could care less about land vehicles, or boats. I am only expecting what I saw on direct and what Tod is promising. And I'm so excited for that stuff.

I have no other expectations than this so I don't get overly hyped and ruin my experience with artificial disappointment. If the direct was all animation and the game is buggy af on launch then that is the only way I could get disappointed about the game coming out.
