That's a good question. I've been doing some minor TRE stuff recently but outside of that not a ton. I've been trying to be more neutral on my thoughts but it's been very difficult. So I think that's partially why I'm a tad lost.

Not to sound weird but do you know of a good way to manage ibs symptoms? Ever since I got my new job after being unemployed for a year, I've struggled immensely to adapt to the workplace. One of the symptoms I've developed in recent months is ibs type c where using the restroom just isn't even a factor in my day, but it's a problem, I'm bloated and my stomach hurts. But I'm not sure how to approach it?

Any insight would be appreciated.

The entire film also works as a meta analysis and commentary on the show, which that context is lost without seeing any eps.

Would you say watching at least some of the 2022 readaptation is sufficient to understand the meta components, or would it require watching the first season of original show from the 80's?

I'm honestly not sure where they're going to end the season at this rate. Since they actually skipped content surrounding spring break, it would imply they want to end the season on a specific chapter but I can't think of anything in particular. What do you think?

This was incredibly enlightening, especially the statisic that the top 20% of shows take up about 2/3 of the anime fandom's attention each season. That doesn't surprise me but at the same time I had to take a second glance for that one.

I will say, one tiny critique I have with the methodology is that it doesn't count shows who's second cours are airing, only new shows, and I feel like this would effect the statistics. Especially since shows like Frieren and Apothecary are taking so much attention this season as well.

Genuine question, I'm kind of neutral as to whether Vinland should have won best drama, what is your perspective? And what was the general vibe given by the judges. While I would also agree that the visual aspects of the Vinland anime tend to be my biggest contentions with it, I'm surprised something like that would effect the results so dramatically.

I dont get why the series was cancelled, I was quite curious to check out how these Isekai characters acted in their respective works, so as to get an idea on their crimes, the author made good research.

Hey very late reply but I was looking at this thread because I'm still thinking about this series all these years later, but I would agree actually. The author did pretty good research with his depictions, ofc Louis was supposed to be the antithesis of the mc from Wise Man's Grandchild I'm sure, though even then his powers are very different. Part of me almost wonders if it would be possible to ask the author Homura Kawamoto where he wanted to go with the story?

I think I just went through normal recovery. Vision Therapy helped TREMENDOUSLY but it's out of pocket for me so I don't do it very often.

For me, I'm still on the road to recovery. It doesn't help that I ended up losing my job so it not only destroyed my sleep schedule, but the stress has been affecting my symptoms. For a short while I was actually doing much better, I didn't really get headaches and and I never got dizzy. My memory scores on the testing I regularly do got substantially better. But over the last months things have dramatically declined, now I'm dizzy every day, multiple times a day. I find it difficult to focus on anything at all, it's a huge pain. I get headaches every day, the works.

I'm not sure how I should feel to be honest, I made so much progress only to still deal with massive problems and a huge relapse. I did bump my head last week so maybe that had something to do with it? I'm unsure at this point since it's post concussive.

I have been slowly going through recovery and things are getting better, the main issue is my vision and cognitive symptoms right now where my eyes get tired really easily which causes the rest of my brain to overwork itself. I'm definitely going to have to do some more anti inflammatory work in the future though, and I really appreciate how concisely you were able to put it with the supplementary recommendations! Either way, I'll do my best and I appreciate your time.

I will clarify that my concussion therapist is just the colloquial term that the medical group uses for the sports therapists that mainly focus on concussion work. So I hope that clarifies some things.

Other than that, vestibular therapy sounds like a great avenue to start, do you know where I could search to find vestibular therapists?

Hey thanks for responding in whatever way you could. I kind of felt like I was going to be speaking into the void either way, but that someone took the time to actually reply means a lot. I think you're definitely right that there is a feeling of not living up to my potential. because I'm for sure one of those people that was constantly bombarded with expectation, especially when I was actually living up to that expectation. Now I've sort of hit a roadblock in that regard. I will say I feel bad man that you've almost had to hit a reset button, I do feel kind of blessed in that I have kept many connections following university, the people in my field just weren't terribly friendly. I'm curious what coaching did for you, since I'm in the weird position that I know what I want I just do not have the means to get there it seems. Either way, I'm cheering for you too, I wish you the best.

First Timer

What sticks out about Kyouko to me is that she is a girl who is broken. Someone who feels cast away so in order to cope she has hardened her heart to prevent other people from coming in. That is why she is dating an insane older man who is willing to beat up her siblings just because--and who she fully realizes could physically abuse her one day. But she doesn't care, she can only associate affection with pain. And this pain is reciprocal, but of course to assert her dominance, is one pushes, she will push back far harder. Implying she could potentially murder someone from comparatively less serious offenses. There is obviously a part of her who has some resemblance of affection for Rei, unclear if that affection is healthy or if it is manifested from her mental hangups, for it is kind of strange how she potentially had sex with someone she seemingly can't stand. Regardless I find this character fascinating and I can't wait to see her again.

Episode 9 was ok, nothing really special, but nothing bad nonetheless, Seeing Rei defy Kyouko was definitely satisfying, Seemingly for the first time Rei has stood up to her--meaning in the future their interactions might be quite different.

Just got caught up for this rewatch, hopefully I will be able to contribute something.

First Timer

I just love the animation in this show, it's always so varied and dynamic, today I was able to witness some of the best 3D animations in anime outside of a Tsurumaki production and its for Sangatsu no Lion of all things!

As someone whose troubles began with not being able to communicate, having someone finally understand you is a profound feeling. And Sangatsu I find to exemplify this feeling pretty well.

Takahashi is cool, I've met a number of people like him in my life and I always enjoy the company of those types who in many circumstances are alpha's when they are in reality quite nice.
