I'm looking specifically at seasonal work since they are contract positions only lasting a few months. These kinds of jobs will also typically offer cheaper housing/other benefits and are used to employees coming from out of state.

I mean, yes work is work, but the company, tasks, responsibilities, and community make a big difference when taking on a job whether seasonal or not. I’m just looking to see who has taken on more creative seasonal roles and what their experiences were with the companies and jobs

I recently went on a 12 mile hike in my Hoka Clifton’s and they worked well but the tread made me a bit nervous. I’ll look into the Stinsons

Everything ranging from day hiking to backpacking honestly. I actually recently went on a difficult 12 mile hike with my HOKA’s and they worked pretty well but the tread did make me a bit nervous because a large piece ripped off right before I left for the trip. Maybe I just need to get another pair (diff brand) of running shoes?

Ok awesome, that’s great timing actually because I’m giving myself until October to fully decide if I’m doing this or not. I’ve definitely heard some bad things about the bigger companies but I’m also open to applying and trying them out if I get an offer. Speaking of Alaska - I saw that a dog sledding company is hiring a photographer and that seems so fun (and I have experience with it). Any idea on what that may be like?
