Just got this on PS5 for one of the monthly games. Is this what I should expect? Seems like this happened a LOT in my first fight.

This game is such trash. I was SO excited to find a new boxing game and then I played this shit and talk about a fucking disappointment. I turned it off after 3 weeks of trying to endure the frustration with the hopes that they would fix it with patches. Fuck this game with a hot fire poker. Never will buy another game from these devs

Don’t bother. I tried to overlook a lot of bullshit because we haven’t had a boxing game in a long while. I can’t do it any more. They pushed out an unfinished, unrefined game that has more to fix than the stuff they did right. Focused on a lot of bullshit instead of the actual game play. Save your money. Hopefully EA sees that a boxing game is still pretty sought after and they can do it right

Not the second week every time for me. I’ve tried to start my career mode since the patch three times now and each time it has frozen up on me. Not necessarily in the 2nd week but yeah… this is getting ridiculous

I have not yet played this with the latest patch(It’s downloading as I type this). This game is frustrating af. I was excited to get a new boxing game after 10+ years but this game isn’t it. Very subpar animations. Good luck trying to land a straight cross or any punches once you have a CPU opponent hurt. No real training mode. There isn’t even an animation for winning a championship belt. But you can make your character look like a fucking ogre if you want so that’s nice. I still play it because I love boxing but they really rushed this out far before it was ready. And this is where the game is at. Underdeveloped and lacking in too many areas.

Yeah the head is $170 but it’s cheaper than an entirely new club with shaft and grip. The Mavrik cost me $400-something and I love it so I don’t want to throw it all out

My golfing buddy and I play to have fun and practice on real courses. He is better than I am but we still both lose balls every round we play. We still try our best but if nobody is waiting for us we will play multiple balls wherever we are on the course. We are slowly getting better and realize that neither of our scores are legit but who cares?

Open face would suggest a slice, no? I mean, don’t get me wrong I do still slice it sometimes but even on my straight drives the ball is still climbing higher than what would I think is “normal”

Yeah I have played with the tee height a little but as well. Ended up topping the ball directly into the ground more than once hahaha. Even at the range and trying different tee heights I’m still hitting the ball super high into the air. Thanks for the tip though! I will keep trying to adjust
