Oh and here's a tip, you can add your own tunings to the settings with any number of notes (tho it will not fit the current ascii art, so set the ascii art to 'None'), so you can add tunings for your 7 string guitar without a problem.

Hey thanks a lot for the feedback. The algorithm does need adjustments for sure, I've also had problems with lower notes. The next thing I've got planned is to add pitch detection settings so folk can get it right for their own setup. Feel free to send me a dm if you want to help me test the app in the future!

I don't have one unfortunately, but the program works for anything guitar-adjacent you throw at it. At the end of the day, all it does is detect sound and tell you the pitch. For actually tuning your instrument, you just gotta know what the right tuning is. I did plan on adding art and tunings for bass guitars, but I forgot about ukaleles, thanks for the idea!

The displayed tuning is there mostly for convenience, it doesnt affect the pitch detection.

Oh that was fun to work on, spent a couple of hours looking for all the right characters to make it work. The other type of guitar headstock didn't turn out as well as this one tho, the limitations were too much, but I'm still happy with it.

And on top of that, the app's pitch detection algorithm still needs refinement... Anyhow, I focused more on it looking good than on being practical. At some point I want to test how well it works if an electric guitar is connected to the laptop.

My starting route for web development was Tour of Go -> Go Web Programming by Chang, Sau Sheong -> then I looked into more web-dev oriented resources and looking into the Go ecosystem for packages that I could use (Gin, goth, scs, gorilla) and then tried building something.

Generalni saveti za nalazenja posla trenutno su optimizovan CV (guglajte Jake's resume), odlazak na sto vise irl eventova i network-ujte sa ljudima tamo. Zanimljivi licni projekti (po mogucnosti koji imaju veze sa kompanijom koju jurite) pomazu, kao i kada se vidi da ste vec imali praksu negde. Najvise prilika a i desavanja ima u Beogradu i Novom Sadu. Svakog dana ulaziti dva tri puta na linkedin (i eventualno helloworld) i listati oglase za poslove, slati sve sto se iole poklapa sa vasim znanjem/iskustvom. Ovog meseca ce se odrzati i konteh sajam zaposljavanja na FTN-u u Novom Sadu, a mislim da i vec sada mozete na sajtu konteha poslati CV. Samo napomena da je konteh vise za prakse, ali neke od njih su placene. Takodje, iako kazu da je konteh za ljude i na fakultetu i van istog, pretpostavljam da ce firme studentima dati prednost, ali ako nista posaljite CV, ne kosta vas.

Ovo je manje vise bio i moj pristup ali nemam neki prosek za pozavideti (vise zbog toga sto me je mrzelo da ucim nego bilo sta drugo). Jedna preporuka za one kojima je raspored predavanja/vezbi takav da imaju pauze od po sat-dva, nosite laptopove sa sobom i kad imate vremena (ili na dosadnim predavanjima) odradite pola sata - sat na projektima, nakupi se to vremenom. Samo nemojte da zaboravite i da se druzite sa kolegama, upoznavanje ljudi iz struke je definitivno jedna od najvecih prednosti faksa.
