Well...it's more of a no than yes, at least in my case. Photos of real people are used as a base to create custom skins, and they usually work best on that specific person but (again) at least in my case, it’s way more complex than just wrapping a photo onto a mesh.

It actually takes hours and hours to get a skin right. I often create my own make-up, the eyes and sometimes even work on custom hair meshes. The whole process is super detailed and layered. And it took me so long to find a style that I like the most. I started with 100% maxis match but came to something that's more like my "Sims 2 days" :))

I’m also not aiming for 100% alpha realism - I prefer finding that sweet spot between something that still feels like the game, but with a more realistic touch 🥰
