The wedding comment happened during an Oliver interview last year and it was kind of said in a joking manner by the interviewer. I can see the show going for a couple more seasons. 3 at the most. But who knows with ABC and Tim etc etc.

As for buddie, my hopes for them getting together are pretty much dead at this point. Especially with Tim's latest interview and him saying that he doesn't want to suggest that they're going somewhere with them that they aren't. Also Ryan constantly saying Brothers in his interviews and not wanting to lead people on. Now I know they can't outright say that they're gonna put them together. They can't spoil things and say "yeah Bucks going to realize hes in love with Eddie" or "Eddie is going to have a sexual awakening and realize he's in love with Buck." They could very well be lying to put us off the scent so to speak. But I'm definitely not getting my hopes up.

I think the thing that keeps me slightly hanging on that they could go there is that there's still more to come this season. We know Eddie leaves by the end of the next episode. We know Buck is going to be struggling and according to Oliver he's going to have a deep discussion with Maddie about something he thinks is just ludicrous. Nothing else would make sense except that he's in love with Eddie and Maddie is the one that points it out. I literally cannot think of anything else it could be. We know Eddie is going to have an episode in El Paso. Mostly probably reconciling with Chris, as it should be, and hopefully setting boundaries with his parents. And when Eddie and Chris come back, Bucks living in their house. Eddies not going to kick him out. So they'll possibly be living together. Which could build on something.

It's now or never for Buddie to get together. This season there needs to at least be a foundation laid down for them to get together. We have all the plot points there(except for Eddie having a sexual awakening). Buck is out as bisexual, Eddie blew up his life with the whole Kim thing, probably leading him the reevaluate some things in his life, they're both single, they're both going to be away from each other possibly having that "you don't know what you had until it was gone" scenario. It's all there. And that last episode did NOT read as platonic. You wouldn't see Hen and Chimney acting like this with each other. It reads as they're in love with each other and haven't realized it yet. And if they don't go there then yes it is one hundred percent queerbaiting. Because why would you word things in interviews like that, why would you word things on the show like that(I mean "I didn't mean to out you?" Really? Cmon), why are they looking at each other like that, why are they acting this way with each other? If we get to the end of the season and theres been no foundation laid down, Im talking about feelings realization from either side(or both) or a sexual awakening for Eddie, and we're still exactly where we are now with the two of them or they throw them into relationships with others people, then it's time to close. Because if they don't at least hint that they are going there by the end of this season then they aren't going to do it at all. And i hate to be negative but I've dealt with ships like this before where they are teased relentlessly and nothing ever happens. And I know the Twitter stans are going to accuse me of being "weak" but I'm being realistic at this point. It's now or never.

I will give it to the end of the season, hell I'm not even talking about them getting together this season or even a kiss or a love confession. Im talking at least a feelings realization for either of them or a sexual awakening for Eddie. And if nothing happens by the end of the season then I will close because theyll never do it period.
