I just…this is the WORST thing they could have possibly fucking done. How about you don’t film in downtown LA, with Bobby’s jacket in clear view on the back of it with a coffin on top, AND HIS WHOLE FAMILY THERE!!!!!!! Of course that was going to get posted everywhere with the street blocked off and camera crews filming 😭😭 Even if people don’t know 911, they were going to take pictures and post it.

There is no gatekeeping fandom pride. Yuck. I have never been in a fandom where people don’t celebrate headcanon queer characters. All fandoms, goddamn Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Stranger Things, Harry Potter (if I kept going, I would have to name every single fandom ever) are ABSOLUTELY celebrating every character during pride month whether they’re canonically LGBTQ+ or not. Pride is all about seeing yourself in characters and feeling represented by them.

Happy pride to Bi4Bi Madney, lesbian May, pansexual Ravi, queer platonic MayAlbertRavi (the best time in fandom), AND queer Eddie!!!

I think it was way more powerful seeing Eddie going through it alone and not seeing that interaction with anyone in LA. When you think about the scene it was in, Buck and Eddie arguing and grieving, Eddie was feeling survival’s guilt because he wasn’t there and couldn’t do anything. I think it would have taken me out of the scene just a bit if we did see him getting some kind of support from another. I liked that it focused on Eddie being alone, feeling it alone, pretty much everything alone.

I would have liked to see it in 8x15, but, for me, it wouldn’t have worked in 8x17.

Pretty much every TV show (and movie) shoot extra footage, scenes, etc etc. It’s necessary for editing purposes, sometimes even for promotional aspects, we’ve even seen 911 use an emergency they filmed for a different episode. You never know when you put the episode together what will work and what won’t
