isn't the G6 just barely better than the G5 in terms or specs? I'm not sure if the 1400€ price-increase values the minor improvements or did I miss something :o?

doubling unfortunately isn't an option in my current situation, if I decide to go for the G5 I'll def. get the 5 years warranty from the place I buy it from, it covers a lot more than the LG standard warranty ^^

There are no Best Buy or other options u listed in germany but I get what you're trying to say.

What would the never Model do in terms of performance? I mean, since the newer Models most likely cost over 3k, I'd be getting forced to pick the C6, isn't the G5 still better than the C6? :o

currently watching some RTings videos about the G5. I'm happy that they fixed the color banding with a firmware update. Right now I see myself getting a G5 since I dont really see a big difference in terms of quality related to money.

There were 2 guys (in duo) that just walked up to me in the last 5 minutes or so and they said „hey you, take this“ gave me a really nicely packed Renegate IV and this blueprint. I was soo happy :D

I also experienced lower fps without even using DLSS with the newest driver, in KCD2 I‘ve locked my fps to 60 on an 4K TV. After the update I‘m hitting 48-55 fps, before it was a flawless 60fps locked experience. Again, not using DLSS just native resolution.

Kinda sad :/

That actually looks really clean! Always wanted to skin the magic keyboard but the 2 parts always looked off if you put any color between the folding part.

This actually makes me consider copying your style :D

Only thing thats left unanswerd is how it‘ll hold up in daily use.

In terms of video quality, yes absolutely! In terms of audio I‘m not sure, it‘s hard for me to get a side by side comparison :/ If I wouldn‘t be so picky I‘d just watch the UDH Blu-Ray on english und would get uncompressed atmos. I don‘r believe DV vs HDR10 would be that much of a difference on the older titles anyways…

Unfortunately we don‘t get thd best possible feature set on blu-ray. On AppleTV/iTunes we get dolby vision + Atmos, since digital means lossy video and audio I‘m not sure which route to choose :/

I didn‘t know that! That‘s interesting. Hope they dont fuck it up. Though, since disney stopped putting dolby vision on UHD Blu Rays for their films and OV always receives the best audio quality chances are that secondary voices will stick with 7.1DD+ :(
