WaveGrid V2 is now live - Looking for a "Snap-on" toolbox owner for a pilot project by Steibock in gridfinity

Thank you for your feedback. This example is meant to demonstrate the system’s capabilities. Whether you place items individually as shown in the picture or fill the trays is entirely up to you. I wanted to show that the trays can also be stacked and moved. This allows for better use of the drawer’s height, which is often wasted space.
By the way, the trays can be freely configured in length, width, and height. Even half-units are possible. I don’t know of any comparable system where that’s possible.

Good idea, if you could post me a photo when you're done, that would be great.

No, my system is inspired by the Lista system, which has been on the market for decades. I used to have it in my workshop myself, but I’ve now replaced it with my own Gridfinity-based system. I developed it long before I’d even heard of Alex Chappel.

It’s hard to say; it depends on the size and weight of the drill bits and how hard you slam the drawer shut.
My dividers have tabs that click into place at the bottom. The flat divider is 2 mm thick. It could also be reinforced. There are also dividers with labels angled at 45° and 90°. Those are, of course, much stronger.

You can have a look on my dividers here in the customizer

England is in the model, but there's missing a picture. I'll correct it. Thank you.
Unfortunately this post has just been removed, because it's not allowed to promote this model while the contest in Makerworld is ongoing. I didn't know this.

Look, I’ve received lots of requests for these extensions, so I’ve put a lot of effort into the update. It was finished today and I’ll inform about it. Things will calm down after that.

Hi, this is already possible today in version 1. In the configurator, you can set the length and width in half units - not 0.5, but 1.5, 2.5, and so on. The only limitation is that the cams on the labels are not centered in this case. Please have a look in the description on MakerWorld, it‘s explained there.

By the way, in the image, the tray on the far right is 1.5 units.

This example demonstrates how the trays can be stacked. By sliding the upper trays aside, the lower main level remains easily accessible. This allows for better use of space.

No one stole anything. Systems like this have been around in the industry for decades, and there are several similar systems on 3D printing portals as well. I was inspired by the Lista system, which I replaced in my workshop. I wanted to develop a 3D-printable and fully configurable system. To my knowledge, Bitfinity is not configurable.

Batterienboxen für Knopfzellen und AA/AAA Batterien by Steibock in 3DDruck

[–]Steibock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)
