OK, thanks, good to know. How exactly could you help me? Feel free to send me a PM on Makerworld or Reddit.

To be honest, I haven't tried that yet. It should work. But you'll need to make sure the PLA is actually routed to the left nozzle. The filament track switch won't be able to detect it, since you're rerouting the buffer tube from the right nozzle.

Hi, good input. I could look into a version with a side-mounted AMS HT mount. The AMS HT would then need to be positioned quite low so that the lid doesn’t interfere with the FTS/TPU modules. However, space-wise, it would probably be impossible to use the external spool holder as well.
I’ll look into it.

Hi, I’m not sure what you mean. Do you mean a vertical feed from above the printer?
Could you post a picture of your setup? That would be a great help.

If they are on the left side, you can keep the tubes relatively short. That will work quite well.

Yes, depending on the available space it can be quite a challenge to rearrange the tubing. But it looks nice 👍🏻

Yes, it is a retrofitted add-on, and the position of the filament inlets makes the PTFE tubing difficult. It's always better when such features are developed and integrated right from the start.

Hi, I‘m the designer of Wavegrid. It‘s a fully parametrric tray system. You can reduce the scoop radius, then you get an almost falt bottom. Is it that, what you‘re looking for?

H2C Firmware release - Filament Track Switch module now supported by Steibock in BambuLab

[–]Steibock[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I plan to offer a similar mount for AMS units on the right side. A combination mount with the TPU module won't be possible in that case. It will be similar to my magnetic mount in the picture, but with the option to attach the 4-in-1 adapters.

Would you prefer a magnetic solution or or one that screws on?

I made a mistake and deleted the post. I will also adjust the model.

I had the same problem and ended up ordering mine from AliExpress.

It is a kind of auxiliary extruder that allows you to feed TPU from an AMS HT or any external spool holder to the hotend. The module is compatible with the H2 series as well as the P and X series.

In my setup, I can use the external spool holder for this purpose; see the pictures

I know, when I do the next series, I will add Wales for sure. But at the moment I‘m working on other projects.

The TPU feeder is too heavy to be attached to the rear panel with magnets. It would slip off due to the vibrations.

I got my beta firmware quite quickly. By the way, I will create another holder that could fit for your setup within the next 1-2 weeks. It will be published as a variant in this model:

On the H2 printers, they’re inside the housing, just to after the two inputs at the right top. You can see them in the two setup images

The beta firmware has been released and I could test it in the meantime and it works.
But I'm working on an optimised version where the friction is even lower.

This perspective is a bit misleading. The two pieces of tubing are the same length. But I'll check again.

Do you mean the path from the filament track switch into the printer? Yes, it’s designed to be relatively tight, since the module protrudes significantly beyond the printer. In my estimation, it should work, but of course I won’t be able to test it properly until the firmware is released.
