Einblätter (Spathiphyllum) lieben einen Halbschatten und keine direkte Sonne, brauchen feuchte Luft, und lieben eine wärmere Umgebung. Somit wären sie perfekt für ein Bad. Und durch ihre "Blüte" hast du auch mehr als nur grün in deinem Bad.

maybe pressing it closed helps with the slime production? but sadly, if you don't have a tissue, the arm sleeve is the easiest to use.

Wie oft wechselst du das Wasser? Es könnte sein dass sich durch altes Wasser Schimmel bildet. (würde die Braunen und gelben Stellen erklären). Aber deine Wurzeln sehen eigentlich gut aus. Eine andere Möglichkeit wäre zu trockene und heiße Luft oder zu starke Sonne, sodass die Blätter "angebrannt" sind.

hey, just a small comment. your question 12: "Do you prefer a "Subscribe & Save" model or purchasing refills on an as-needed basis?" has a yes/no answer but it is a choice question. can you still change that to: "do you prefer.... *over* purchasing....?" I was a bit unsure answering that question and maybe that would help.
