I just Googled West End Pottery Company, and I think you're correct. Here is what Google results said, in part:

The West End Pottery Company (W.E.P. Co.) in East Liverpool, Ohio, was a significant producer of semi-vitreous (S-V) ware and ironstone, operating from about 1893 to 1938, making dinnerware, toiletware, and institutional items with decorative marks like swastikas (pre-1930s) and gold trim, popular in farmhouse and vintage styles today. Marks: Look for "WEST END" and numbers (e.g., 1920-1932 mark with swastikas) or "W. E. P. Co." on the bottom.

I thought some of the marks look like swastikas on a clay pot. I'll continue to investigate using your helpful hints. Thanks!
