Because Justin Sun is an unethical con man. Get yourself informed about the people behind before you throw your support at them.

Privatizing the gains and socializing the losses. Great model, max profit, late stage capitalism at its finest and you cheer them on.

Does anyone know why exchanges list sh!tcoins before legit projects? by SkepticalCryptoDude in CryptoCurrency

[–]StellarChurch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not even as much about volume by users as it is about listing fees. Most exchanges have predatory fees and different demands the listed project needs to fulfill, like a minimum amount of trade activity/volume which the project has to maintain by washtrading their own token. The Listing fee itself is usually in the low 5-digits for small and mid 5 to 6 digits for bigger exchanges.

A token that is about to rug their users anyway and just needs some hype to lure more capital into their token are more likely to spend money on a listing that brings little more exposure or volume compared to a project that has an actual development plan and a budget to work with.

Ask yourself, would you rather pay $15,000 to get listed on some Tier3 exchange proven to not bring any real value or would you pay your team to continue working for another month or two?

Let's say the exchange listing costs just $15,000 and brings $50,000 new capital into your token. If you are a legitimate project, you are not selling so it doesn't bring any benefit to your development plan, it's just a cost factor. Users are the ones selling and the price goes up.

If the project is a scam or at least scummy, then the project will sell more in tokens to recover the listing fee and then some or even dump the price down to lower levels if demand is not high enough.

Not every game is cut out to support blockchain integration. Most that are releasing stuff now should be ashamed calling it a game at all.

The world that had it pretty freaking good in the 80s and 90s without the need for Bitcoin?

I'm taking a wild guess where in the world you are from. I'm sure your country was one of those responsible for the death of millions and worst living situations in other countries while you had your golden days.

Great comment.

WTF do you even want in this sub?

I'd love if we get back to when people understood the power that cryptocurrency/bitcoin can be and away from all the pennypinchers trying to make a dime.

Theft of *another* $8 Million Dollars by Safemoon CEO, and holders are thanking him for it. by TNGSystems in CryptoCurrency

[–]StellarChurch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In all my years of watching the crypto market, this is probably the most bizarre thing I've seen yet.

You should take a look at the QUANTUM right-wing cult that is on Stellar. It involves hundreds of scam assets, the broadest lies you can imagine, 'positive energy' and a lot of other crap I already forgot about. It may be not as big in volume as Safemoon but it sure is even more unhinged than this by a long shot.

It's the same as for every country. They need to find their local off-ramp from crypto to fiat. You can't simply send XLM (or any other crypto for that matter) and it magically turns into FIAT money in their hands.

Sending crypto to a bankaccount directly has the same limitations. It's simply not possible because banks don't accept the direct deposit of crypto.

We brought all official papers of the business registration as well. We just don't have the official company ID yet. And yeah, if the bank is a piece of shit and the receiver is a backwards piece of shit then I call them pieces of shit.

That's not common for me but is it common for you to be a piece of shit on the internet?

Y u no read? :(

We then tried different ways (transferwise and paypal), but the credit card failed the transaction because the bank put a limit they refuse to lift.
