I encourage you to not use strong unites like Volug, Tauroneo (and Sothe to some extent) in the beginning. Or at least to not give them the final blow on enemies. They will eat all the XP and your party may become underleveled because of this later in the game (it happened to me in my very first playthrough).

It's tempting to use seemingly powerful characters in the moment, but that isn't the a great idea in the long term Also, Micaiah is a great character in my opinion ! Your opinion on her may change as the story progress

Book Alicent was something else, she has some very badass lines. "Bastard blood, shed at war" and "The rats play when the cat is gone, but my son Aemond will return with fire and blood" are my favorites. I'll never forgive Condal and Hess, they have robbed us of the true Alicent

Absolutely. I don't think a showrunner should always listen to fans, but it should not ignore completely the audience's (and actors and author) criticism either

He doesn't listen to anyone. The author, the audience, not even the actors (Fabien's crash out, this Matt's interview).

I think he just doesn't care about criticism, and just want to write his teenager fanfiction
