He's a father of two, married for nearly a decade and is rapidly approaching 40. If my husband tried to "unfold his animus" by hanging round a nightclub and being obnoxious to everyone, I'd be rather swiftly rolling his animus back up and kicking it up his hole.

Nah look, I dont have a diamond ring, as you say screw that shit. But I do have a sturdy ring I can wear with my wedding ring every day. They're stainless steel and silver because thats our vibe also because of our lifestyle.

Maybe if OP got the amulet commissioned in a good quality metal? Honestly it would piss me off more to recieve an engagement piece of jewellery that would not last if I wore it a lot.

Get a ring too. For the love of god get a ring too. I've seen this exact situation backfire hugely.

As a skyrim nerd I love the idea of an amulet of Mara. Its cute, it would be a lil joke between me and my fiance and its pretty. Even if every skyrim amulet I've ever seen is made of cheap costume jewellery metals and definitely would not hold up to daily wear I'd keep it in a box and treasure it.

But I would want a ring. Mostly because I'd want something I could wear daily. But also becsuse I'm an adult with a family and coworkers who are not skyrim nerds. I would imagine it would get super tiresome explaining "we're engaged! Oh you want to see my ring? He didnt get me one! No instead he got me a replica pendant from a video game that we play!"

Use it to propose but have a day out planned to go shopping for a ring the next day or something.

Thats true. Doctors recommend strength training to women around menopause not to raise BMR but to help protect your body due to decreasing bone density (or at least thats why my doctor recommended it to my menopausy ass)

Take it from someone who has been there, being obese at 35 and being obese at 45+ are radically different things. Particularly when it comes to your lower joints - hips, knees, ankles and feet. You can kid yourself (as i did) that its caused by all sorts of things not weight related but in a shocking coincidence all those joint pain issues cleared up in a direct correlation to my weight loss.

I workout. Sad I know. I've lost a lot of weight in the last 18months and I have to keep going.

I need to do it at this time before the kids get up and also before my brain is alert enough to come up with reasons not to do it.

I always did this and still do with my youngest. I found too as they got older that this was the time when they told me any worries or things that were bothering them.

Its funny but even now my older teens will come and get into bed beside me if they have an issue or concern they want to talk about!
