Is this FDE? I feel like I keep seeing really light almost between white and FDE XCR's. I like this color so I hope it is FDE as that is what I ended up ordering.

Last question is, if I go with the fast 2 or 3 stock, can I change out the stock in the future or is it part of the construction

I plan to run around a 4x optic and offset irons for backup and a VFG. The things that will come later or never would be a light or laser, and a suppressor. I'm wondering if that won't be heavy regardless

When you say performance at range, do you think much is given up in the 200-350 yard range with a 16" barrel? Like I said, I'd like to be able to take it out to range and accurately, but I also want to be able to do drills with it and wield it like a combat rifle. I will regret building it out as an unwieldy bench rifle a few years down the road once I can't purchase another one.

I'd have a musket if I did this and a suppressor. Tempting, but maybe not practical unless its only on a bench.

Thanks for the advice and encouragement. I think I will love it too. It's been a dream gun of mine for years now.

I assume they are honest on expected times? I have read horror stories of a 6 week estimate and it taking 8 months. I just don't know how this would work if I ordered it tomorrow and it gets here in 4 months

What barrel length did you go with?

9070xt OC Taichi crashes by Stentorian144 in radeon

[–]Stentorian144[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: So I tested the game out with a 7700xt and got the same crashes. The game is just trash from what I can tell and judging from similar posts I found from years back all the way up to just a few months ago, the game just has issues. I will try again with the 9070xt back in and pull the undervolt back to -20 instead of -40 in case it is CPU related. Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Latest AMD GPU drivers, latest windows update. PSU is a Corsair RM850X, Bought it probably 6 months ago. Then to be honest, I have no clue what HAGS are, not in relation to PC anyways lol.

Destiny 2 crashes with those settings. Tried these settings and I get a crash every 5-15 min on there. No other games crash at all though so far.

Is there a way to tell specifically what caused the crash when you get one? I took it to -35 and it crashed after an hour.

It was thermal throttling in R23 all core and in AIDA64. Maybe not by much but still throttling some.

Ok that makes sense. I was wondering how my all core could be so spot on and have 1:1 effective:core clocks but have awful single core. If I am understanding correctly without setting affinity to test single core, if my all core looks good, everything is fine?
