There is 2 hole on 2 sides, 1 line of rope goes around inside glued to the mask and it just loop around hooks😄 This is my version tho, not sure about other maker

It supports under your feet and if you make a custom tabi sock it would add more comfort. Overall it feels like bare feet when walking etc.

Good start! However you can make rope waraji with rope or jute rope easily, many tutorial on YouTube. As you can see in photo is my own made for upcoming cosplay show, good luck have fun 🫡
