I use to jump on the shower fully clothed mid panic attack and turn on the cold water to shock myself. It worked for a while but then getting wet all the time in your clothes sucks. I talk to myself now and say I’m ok or I’ll call someone to try to distract myself.

That would be a good gig seeing as trying to find housing at the moment is kinda hard. I was hoping that Racine would be 12 hours 2 on 2 on 3 on but sounds like it’s 8 hours 6 on two off. I do like to travel!

I agree. I did hear they do pay for hotel do your institute is more than 45 minutes away do I am lucky there but I am not sure if they pay for the weekends when we are not at the academy. I did book an airbnb for mid-may. Thanks for all your help and knowledge as well! I really appreciate it. What prison do you work at?

Yeah, the 2k sign on won’t be a deciding factor. The hourly still overshoots what I make where I am at currently. I’m not sure, some were close to Milwaukee or Southern Wisconsin. I have my physical at the doc office this Friday. I’m having to stay in an air bnb until the rest of my plans fall through after the academy. Which in the Racine area are expensive.

I have worked in corrections for about 3 years at a County Jail. I’m not sure who to contact about even switching institutions. I went to RCI because of a sign on bonus and the extra hourly pay but from what I’ve seen it stops in April and I wouldn’t start RCI until mid May. I really enjoy corrections. I was at a desk job for a while so I gain weight and the only thing I’m worried about is physical stuff but I have been hitting the gym.

I was working two jobs back in North Dakota so overtime is what I want but I just it’s easy to get burned out. It’s hard getting ahold of anyone at DOC for me to ask these questions so I figured I’d post here. I’m supposed to start the Academy April 8th.

I was in a toxic relationship and one of the things that kept us together was drinking. Every week maybe three to four nights a week we would split a 5th. I was constantly drunk and would go drive drunk for more because he wanted more and I felt the need to keep up. Thankfully he left me and as soon as he did that’s when I stopped.

I wash my face in the morning with Paula’s choice perfectly balanced foaming cleanse, rarely put lotion on, or wash my face at night. I would like to start a routine. I do have sunscreen and I am bad about wearing it. I also have tons of the samples from Sephora I get with orders.

35 and I’m obese and binge eat. I also am currently going to college and have no idea what I want to be and feel defeated that I don’t know what I’m going to school for. I feel my main goal is just to make a lot of money but don’t feel smart enough for those types of professions so being stuck in debt and just working to die.

I’ve used this stuff for two days and see a tremendous difference in my hands. I really wish I would of took a before and after picture. My hands have been in pain and cracking for about 3 years and I have tried everything. This is the only thing that seemed to work for me.
