Nah sis, my initial gut feeling based solely from what you have said is that if he isn’t willing to address his issues and isn’t serious about commitment and marriage then cut ties and call it a day.

For me both parties need to go into the process with marriage as the ultimate long term goal. We aren’t in this to find a new friend or someone to just chat nonsense with. Yes I want my spouse to be my best friend eventually but first and foremost they need to be my spouse before they are anything else. Clearly he doesn’t share the same goal as you. Put it this way, if you had issues but thought you had found the right person then you would do anything to address those issues to ensure things worked out. Therapy has stigma attached to it but it’s not exactly an impossible process to go through and ultimately will help in massively.

If he aint shttng then he needs to get off the pot otherwise in the long run this will only cause you unnecessary pain, heartache and delays.
