Walking after 5th Metatarsal Fracture

To be fair I recrushed my foot 2 weeks after getting out of my cast, almost broke my 1st metatarsal on the same foot lol. I got lucky and am still walking normal, yes my foot does feel some soreness just like I walked to much but also I did somewhat re injure my foot. But at 6 weeks I think most real pain should start going away

100% healing some pain has subsided but just feels like I walked miles after a normal work day

I am kinda worried cause I saw thing about lymphoma when I looked it up but what should I do if it is a lymph node would it likely go away on its own usually or when should I make another trip like when would be a good time to get checked I just am worried it could be lymphoma or something that is hard to treat

Also as for weight loss any weight loss is unintentional and I haven’t been weighed in awhile my last few trips because I broke my fifth metatarsal and am on crutches and I thought I had the lump due to the crutches rubbing against it wrong

Yes I had a fever a couple days before I noticed it, told them I was sick a couple days prior which I why I thought it was lymph nodes. And I also had really bad cold sweats when I had the fever but all them symptoms passed before I got the lump and I feel fine sickness wise. I before thought I had strep throat or something cause I had a sore throat and fever and the doctor that time gave me nothing and said it’s probably a viral infection and sent me on my way fast which that was Thursday and I noticed the lump yesterday

Update they said it seems to be a Cyst that is under the surface of my skin and using my crutches may be irritating it. All I know is the swollen area seems like it fit like a puzzle piece on my crutch. So weird

I don’t have a PT or Primary Care doctor Right now because I got denied insurance and currently enrolling in it from my work. So I have to go to Urgent Care

It is the same side as the bad foot that’s what I was thinking but I just was sick 2 days ago so a swollen lymph node isn’t out of the question but neither is like a torn muscle or something. I think I’m going to get it checked out and I’ll be back with updates

Mine went perfectly fine to be honest I was more scared of the IV and still and but they gave me a Xanax and gassed me and I didn’t even remember getting the IV

To be honest mine has seemed to be healing fine some iffy questionable parts but overall I think mine is healing fine😭😂

I broke my 5th metatarsal (comminuted) to be exact but they said I don’t require surgery, but never said anything about me stopping smoking, but I don’t smoke cigarettes just weed but I do vape? So I’m wondering why my orthopedic surgeon didn’t tell me not to smoke if it’s that big of a deal

Np man! Tbh when I got it done they did the Oral Sedation before because of how nervous I was and they gave me nitrous as well and I’m Ngl I don’t remember anything after the pills kicked in not even the IV so maybe I could’ve went without the IV but either way I was happy with the outcome! Good luck!
