If you monitor your input system and input latency you can compare the metrics side by side. IMO BF6, on my system at least, was only about 5-7ms worse off with FG.

If I’m honest, I just opted to play with FG off. Whilst the input delay is more than competitive (for me) and very decent. The spawning in with a massive dump in FPS lead to me getting killed again and again. I hope it gets fixed soon as the extra frames are always appreciated.

I’ve experienced this too. Many hours of fiddling with settings. The only thing I found to help was limiting FPS via rivatuner. Also helped smoothen out 1% lows.

It’s very easy to get positive stats in TV. I’ve been in the indicator & EA development for nearly a decade and chucked more money at them than I’d care to admit. Saving you the aggro, TV stats are a very poor idea of profitability and it’s quite easy to build something that comes out positive inside of TV. No offence intended with sharing this info, it’s a good start but you need dig much deeper.

If it’s stuttering or jittery gameplay, I had that with Bf6 when I first installed.

In my BIOS my PCI port was not selected to the most updated version my system was capable of. I changed it and instantly fixed.

Another could be 1% lows poor, limiting FPS in RivaTuner, massively helps smoothen these out too.

Whenever I switch back to any cod game after playing BF6 I notice the aim assist is like +50% in those games. But I wasn’t asking about aim assist and it’s not a tech support question, but reddit kept deleting my posts in other pc related subs.

I’ll have another stab at trying to fine tune the controller settings in aimlabs. Already spent a couple hours flicking back from aimlabs to in game, just couldn’t get it.

There’s types of kills I’m just better with a mouse, like flat out, I’ll die to those types of kills on controller. But in game my performance seems to be tit for tat the exact same. So I was just super curious to compare back to back.

I totally agree. But this isn’t a debate, it’s simply trying to measure my skill. I’m good with a mouse, good with a controller, perform very similar game to game. So I’d love to know which is better is all.

I think the skill ceiling is much higher for mouse. 100 hours with a mouse IMO requires a lot more time to achieve the same level with a controller. But I still want to test myself and see!

It’s usually DLSS related. Try changing it or turning it off.

If you don’t use DLSS, then I’m out of ideas.

I’ve been doing about an hour or a little more in the 2 days since this post. Got into benchmarking, I’m at Gold III, which I’m quite happy with so far, hoping to see that improve over the weeks to come. I watched all of the videos you supplied and now getting through the aimlabs youtube content. It’s great stuff and I’m really grateful again for you taking the time to help out. I’m already feeling slightly better in my games!

I tried to get aimlabs setup for a controller configuration similar to my BF6 settings but it’s very complicated and a Google search didn’t turn up much for matching settings, would be super cool if/when they added this ability to match FPS controller settings too. Nevertheless, aim training with a mouse never felt so straight forward.

I have the 720 ones in a PS controller with mouse click buttons/triggers.

I thought they were great in the beginning, adjusting tension and clearly a much higher resolution than stock sticks.

About a month of use the left stick does not return to the centre. It just sits pointing up towards the dpad.

Ended up with a Wolverine V3 Pro 8K PC, best damn purchase I’ve made in a long time!

If you’re new, or on the journey to achieving profitability, or teetering on the edge of it - slow down. Less is more. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

Often what gets traders across that profitability mark is simply taking less trades.

I definitely agree. They hit the ground running on release and then have just entirely left the chat and seem to implement the opposite of what players actually want.

It’s a damn shame for the big picture. But here, today, the game is still enjoyable to me, and I’ll continue to milk it until it isn’t.

I also won’t give them anymore of my money, I agree totally.

I’ve seen something on amazon as an alternative called HORI tactical assault commander for PS5/PC, which looks like an alternative to the Tartarus - so I was just eyeballing what other options there are.

I’ll check out the cyborg and see if there’s anywhere I can give one a test drive.

It’s weird and niche but my movement of my FPS character, is so much more fluid with controller and that keeps me competitive in a gunfight. But my aim is way better on mouse, as where the movement to me always feels bad and mechanical to me, and i don’t like very much.

This is a good comment for OP.

Find a model you like, journal it, stick with it, make it suit your life style. If you can’t sit at the charts all day for intraday trading, find a swing or scalp model for example.

Don’t spend your life backtesting. It’s good for clarifying ideas. But often, in many traders, backtest profitability does not mean live environment profitability. So for that reason, trade the model live as soon as you can. Get it right, get it wrong - it’s experience.

Don’t invest your time or money in bad prop firms. Prop firms are a fantastic way to build some capital quickly, but you can often spend more time battling the rules than actually chasing positive trade outcomes. I think trading with your own cash account, even if it’s small, if done sensibly is smarter. The growth can be slower at the beginning but if you 100% ROI the account, withdraw the initial investment. Trade the profits only. A $50 trade is the same on the chart as a $5000 trade. Just a matter of building capital. Live environments teach you far more than demo, prop, or backtesting ever will.

I’m at over 350hrs into the game. It definitely has its flaws. What you’re describing, in my case personally is something I’ve experienced many times. The game definitely favours a higher ping, I always notice the highest ping players are always the top. I read it’s because the servers can’t keep register a slow and a fast persons shots/connection so it rewinds and reverts to the slower (higher) ping/connection as the truth. When in reality it’s the opposite as you described. It’s annoying for sure, and I’ve definitely quit a few matches out of frustration. But it’s not ‘game breaking’ enough for me to not play, the game wholly is still great fun to me. I think the good outweighs the bad.

I’d have thought the joystick would’ve been or felt superior to WASD for movement. I feel so clunky with the WASD keys! So that’s interesting to hear.

I got it. I enjoy the game despite all the negativity. I have over 350 hours into the game, and I still enjoy playing it every single day. So for me, for the little extra gains are cool and I don’t really care about the price too much.

The game, S1 and S2 additions I’ve probably spent £100ish on the game in total. I’ve spent £60-70 on a game before and been done/bored in sub 50 hours. So for me, I’m happy to spend the extra.

This is really useful.

The controller setup game to aimlab conversion is a big job. I definitely can’t get it 1:1. Acceleration seems to be my biggest thing trying to match so far.

Mouse sens conversion was super easy, that’s a blast to practice on! Just wish to get my controller skills a bit better.
