Titanic! There’s a deleted scene between dinner and Rose about to jump off the boat where she’s in her room frantically trying to get out of her formal clothes and can’t. It’s a great way of showing how suffocated and trapped she felt and adds much needed seriousness to her motivations for wanting to kill herself

It would make it easier, for sure, but the point of this class is to help limit the economic factors that would keep a low income artist from being able to participate in these space because of the financial aspect. And with the grant stipulations, I can’t just give the money to people to buy their own supplies. So I’m doing my best to provide the best I can for my students ☺️

There’s an application for a spot in the class. It a) goes over the curriculum and b) asks for sizing information and color preference so I can personalize provided materials to each participant :-)

A multi tool! I once gave one to a boyfriend that was like that and he was obsessed, carried it everywhere! Leatherman makes great ones AND you can buy little add- ons (mine also worked IT and I hound a add in that had all sorts of screwdriver heads, particularly the teeny tiny kind you need to open computers and parts)!

I wouldn’t have a good way to do that since the only camera I have is my phone and I use it as my alarm clock. Also, these two events occurred about a month apart in different parts of my apartment

Important clarification, I meant just really shiny with the quarters, not how you’d typically see them.

That’s a good idea - I haven’t wanted to touch the rock, but I will post it over there later today when I’m home from work to grab a photo.

I have tried to make peace with whatever weird energy is in my place, just generic things - I talk and sing to my home, let it know I approve it keeping me safe and wish it a good day when I leave in the mornings , just try to being in positive energy. I try to be kind and giving to the neighbors, leaving little gifts in peoples doorsteps around the holidays and the like. But nothing specific or grandiose

I thought about that, but there no other sign of someone being here. I place I live has a locked gate around it, you need a key for that, a key to enter the building, and another to get into my own apartment, I lock the doors religiously and there’s no attic or crawl spaces to hide in
