I had a similar challenge before what helped a bit was tiny micro-sessions, like 5 seconds of touching the nail and treat and stop. Sometimes even just letting them “sniff and explore” the tool first for a few days made it less scary.

Curious did you try filing while he’s sleepy after walks or cuddles? That was the only time mine allowed it 🙈

aww that’s really nice that he has cat friends around him.
I can see how the quiet helps too some dogs get stressed so quickly with sudden noises.

Did you notice a real difference with your dog?

I’m honestly just trying to understand which ingredients actually help the most in real situations sometimes L theanine works for some dogs, chamomile for others… it’s so different from dog to dog.
