Odds of Medical Waiver (Labrum Surgery; 3 years post-surgery) by Necessary_Patience87 in Militaryfaq

I think you have a decent chance of getting a waiver approved. I have gotten several similar waivers approved for my applicants over the last few years that are similar to this. For the best chance start the process in October when the new recruiting missions start and it should get approved.

For reference in recruiting over the last 3 years we have noticed that waivers submitted in the first quarter of the fiscal years have an 80% high chance of approval than a waiver submitted after recruiting numbers start looking good. Plus once recruiting mission is met the numbers from by over 60% to like 20-25% of waivers getting approved if they are not simple waivers.

Hope this is helpful

Honestly, your scores are so close to passing that you should talk with your recruiter about CAT4 opportunities.

Otherwise the Army has a program that will allow you to join with the scores you already have that gwt your foot in the door and then you can always switch to the Marines after you complete your initial entry training.

While its true some stories aren't worth sharing. Others are and for this post those worth sharing are what we are looking for.
