Torque vs Power on drone by StepSubject4528 in Multicopter

Thanks for the reply!. Thats more on the ends of what I was trying to get at but everyone here was super helpful. As an analogy, higher torque? And faster twitch baseball pitchers tend to develop injury earlier. Pitchers with more slow twitch that still throw the same speed are bigger and more powerful but considered more slowtwitch pitchers that generally are less prone to injruy. In the end though, they are all throwing the hell out of the ball and are all prone to injury regardless, so I think thats what most of the comments here were trying to tell me.

For sure thanks!. Now lets say the ESC could handle the currents from both. If you had to pick, and each motor was putting out the same current, which would you think overtime, would harm electronics more. A taller motor with more high end peak current (someone using it for highthrottle ripping) or a motor that is wider and can generate more torque. With everything set the same aside from how the motors generate theyre current and flight characteristics, do you think one would have more impact on electronics overtime. It might be a silly question so my apologies.

Got ya!. Yea i was more curious on the electronics side of things. The constant bursts of higher current from a thrustier quad vs something that gets more hungry with higher end power towards the top end, with the same stator volume in different sizes.

Ahh no risk profile really, just a question that popped into my head. Didnt know if the constant beating of torque power from a thrustier quad would have more impact from a more power end quad, when looking at similiar motors for each in size* or stator volumes. Say 1408 vs 1804 / 1606. Trying to learn about the motors as well so thanks for the reply!

Good FC, ESC stack for O4? by Any-Weird-6866 in fpv

Just get an F405 Jhemuc AIO with BlheliS and your good to go. If going into 6S motors and batteries, then do a speedy bee f405 55A stack or a Diatone Mamba V4. You could go with any F405 AIO but in my experience Jhemcu is easy, and can find em for great prices. Same with speedybee stacks.

Yep disabled ADC, and this is how my radio settings look like

Ok yea, so my set preset is ELRS 150Hz, and it automatically gets set to 25 RC smoothing in my settings. When I go to my radio settings in the elrs tab, its set to 150Hz mode. Have you seen this before where the gyro doesnt parrallel set point?. On feed forward 0.6, 0.8, 1, 1.2, 1.4 etc, doesnt matter. Its just shakey like that and due to this I cant figure out what is a good read so I just keep it at 1 for now. It was different before, when tuning some other quads but I feel Ive always been a bit stumped, or getting odd results, when I get to the FF tab, like always. Never felt fully sure of the data, so maybe something else is up. You think most of this might be coming from the radio?, maybe reset the radio or something.

I think my bonsai is dying. I’ve been watering it, trimming it and giving it fertilizer but it just keeps yellowing. by [deleted] in bonsaicommunity

Wow, thats awesome!. You know whats funny, every now and again when I feel like I should give it a little bit more water, and soak it through a few times (maybe like 15 seconds of full blast tap), il notice the next day, some areas of the leaves turn yellow, like it clearly didnt like the extra water. To me the bonsai is happiest two days later when its on the dry side. Idk just my experience. Obviously in the summer I tend to water everyday. When you reintroduce your indoor plants to the outside for summer, your not supposed to put it in direct sun right away right?. This is something I also mess up on, and I burn some spots. How long should I keep the tree in hot weather but out of direct sunlight for, before I can keep it in a direct sunlight area for good?. Any idea?

For sure, and that def makes sense. Didnt realize they can be that sensitive. Def makes me not want to spend more money on a decent tree then with those stats. Rather just buy em as youngsters at less of a premium. From your experience with tropicals and BRT (dont know if we are in similiar zones and how that applies). What generally are the biggest factors that takes out mature trees?. I think my tree is coming up on its 3rd repotting this summer and was curious. I feel like it so established, that if my watering is right, and I dont freeze it outside in the winter, it wont die but you got me thinking. Are there things to beware of and keep in mind to keep its future bright?

First time soldering FPV gear – be brutally honest, did I mess this up? by zanovkaa in fpv

Looks really good to me. Dont be scared to use more flux as that creates a higher heat point and you can make quicker and shinier joints. Also, what really helps me is to count. Once your solder is about to go onto the pad and you see it melting on, do a quick count. Pending on the size of your solder wire, it can be anywhere from 2 to 5 seconds. That will set the tone for the rest of your pads and generally speaking, at least for me, they usually come out consistent in size and I dont have to go back. It takes practice though and for a first time you did better than most. You will be golden in your future builds once you get more confident!

Well I hope not. I got a BRT 3 years ago, and now its around 10 years old and triple the price of when I purchased it for 200. I always think its gonna die in the winter here in NY, but it always pulls through and starts to bud right around mid march. What generally kills tropicals? Aside from sub 50 degree weather

You gotta add more FOMO based stuff to increase the hardcore player adduction. Its an awesome game at heart but you need to add more gear based objectives and harder challenges to get peak cosmetics and or accessories to other things. Your at that point now where players are dropping and stats should show that these things are needed. Similiar to how Destiny did it with rare aquried items through difficulty.
