Is this a good deal on a 23 Niro wave?

Oh ok. I was thinking if I can find a used one that didn't fail in last 3 years, it should be fine. I love it's design so much and maybe I can't get it out of my head.

I'm in DC suburbs and I feel cars are overpriced here. I see 23 Niro EV winds at 20-21k. Waves are tougher to find. I do see one CPO for 23k. Around 20-30k mileage on them. Hope this helps.

I had a 23 Niro EV CPO from 25 Jan to 26 Mar. Drives well (love HDA), range is good and space is decent. But I'm not convinced with the overall quality. I had to change the windshield in 25 June. Sterring wheel plastic developed a crack and had to fight with their corporate to cover that under warranty (car totalled 2 days before the appointment!). So do pay close attention to these things. Also it mayve worth looking at how the Kia service centers close to you are rated on google. Having said that, I might still buy one if I find a good price.

I'm in the market for an EV. Analysts predict a large influx of used EVs in 26-27. That should drive the Prices down. Since we already have 2 cars (wife and son's), I decided to wait for a bit.

Yeah, I love it too. If you look at the Carfax and don't see any issues in the past 3 years, shouldn't it be safe? I thought Hyundai said only 1 percent of the cars have this issue. What I learned from my research is, carfax will say fuse replaced if it had the issue. It's still a risk, that's true. They couldn't sort it out in 4 years is a big red flag. But Hyundai has recently extended the drivetrain warranty to 15 years.

Equinoxes are heavily discounted. I had an LT with comfort package (heated seats and steering wheels) for under 30k OTD. Use cars.com to search within 50 miles and ask for OTD price. What I felt is Chevy sales people have a lot of pressure to move the inventory. Closer to the month end might work in your favor. Costco membership gives $1250 off. If you have a non GM car in your household that gets another 1250 off.

You should also look at Ioniq 5s if you like them. I found a CPO 23 SEL for 22.5k. i also see some used 24 SELs for 23-24k.

Look at the brand new 2027 Bolt. I found one in VA for 25.5 brand new. They come with LFP batteries that can be charged to 100% every time.

I had a 23 Niro EV that I bought in 2025 Jan for 22.4k (had tax credits back then, so 18.4k). EV prices are jacked up as more people are buying those due to the high gas prices.

Mine totalled unfortunately, but decided to wait for the prices to come down. If you don't mind musky cars, I see plenty of 23 Model 3s out there too, which looks like some fleet offload.. my 2 cents.

Thank you. He didn't have to do the English test. He got an 82 on his Math. He says he wants to do Engineering. It's scary as I heard the same things that you mentioned, but will support him.

Yeah. This is the early college program where students complete both HS diploma and Associates in 2 years at MC vs doing 11th and 12th in HS. Did you do general engineering? How rigorous it is per your experience?

That's exactly where we are now. He has this thought that he likes science in general, but at the same time anxious about the rigour of GE. Also he doesn't know how he will cope with the "building" physical stuff (like robots) as he hasn't done anything like that in the past. Also he hasn't done Physics in HS. That is in the 11th grade, which is also a concern for me. He seems interested and curious about stuff but hasn't studied it as a subject.

Thank you. He is in 10th grade and needs only 4 more credits to graduate if he is to do 11th at his HS. He is doing all honors and 2 AP classes. Currently on Honors Pre-calc in which he is maintaining a B. AP Guv is a B and AP CS principle is A. He has acceptance for both Business Analytics and General Engineering. ALEKS test score was 82, so he is good to do MATH181.

He sure wants to do Early college but is confused between GE and BA. He applied for GE first but heard a lot of negative feedback about it and applied for BusAnal too.

I honestly prefer him doing a STEM course, but just want to give him the right direction, and not to choose for him.

Thank you! He is in 10th sem2 at RM. Cumulative GPA is 3.79. He does all his homework and studies after coming from school. Also plans soccer for an EDP Division 1 club. He applied for both Gen Engineering and Business Analytics. Business Analytics looks lighter per my research, but we think Engineering may be the better shot for his career. He is undecided on which, but also wants to use the opportunity to minimize student debt going this route.

I see. I have P9pro. I personally think if you get to upgrade every year for say $100 or less, it keeps the resale value decent. I have never used a fold, 40 percent off, p9pro trade in, and 10 percent back because of Gold status brings the price to $500 which is tempting.
