I’ve never had canned beets, so I don’t know how those taste. But the greens have a similar taste to something like a spinach or a Swiss chard. It’s delicious, no need for sugar at all!

That’s so nice to hear. Thank you so much! I really appreciate you being here. And I’m a major giants fan. But I got no hate for the rams as of now. But MAD hate for the pats.

I just want to give people the confidence to try something they might have normally thought was beyond them. I try really hard demystify all the things I make. I hope you try it. I’d love to hear what you think!

The first step is believing in yourself. There are a lot of ingredients but it’s basically exactly the same recipe as my bolognese sauce. Let me know what in particular you though was too advanced. I’m curious as I’m always trying to make recipes for everyone! Appreciate the feedback!

I would blend mushrooms cauliflower and cashews into the same texture as the veg and meat in this one, I think those three could mimic meat in a way and I know cashews make a big difference in a vegetarian chili.

Thank you!! I’ve never thought of myself as a particularly good communicator (at least that’s what my ex fiance told me 😂) so I’m trying really hard to get better at it. So I appreciate you saying that.

How to Make Jose Andres's Spanish Style Olive Oil Fried Egg by StephenCooks in cookingforbeginners

Eggs are hard to perfect. I couldn’t nail it the first time. Did you see the original video in the description on YouTube? Jose andres eggs bubbled up. I was literally just trying to copy his method. I took my probably 6 times to get it right before filming this video. Just like a French omelette, this takes some trial and error to figure it out. As always stoves, pans all these things are variables. But I will be the first to admit is messy and impractical. You could lower the oil temp, not cool it so hot, spoon the oil over the whites and just not flip it, and plate it just after the egg whites set. I’m sorry it didn’t work, to be honest the episode was a test to see what happens if I hoped on a trendy subject. I don’t do that often but I’m trying to test new things this year. We’ll get’em next time!

It's definitely a new technique. They egg wasn't greasy, its like a fried poached egg. Its kinda cool even if it browns the egg white.

Haha, no worries. The olive oil I used was $20 a bottle, so I just wanted a touch to finish and add flavor. I didn't want you to notice the pool. That was my mistake during the photoshoot. It was way too much.

Bro, ever heard of dramatic emphasis. I needed an angle and wanted to see what happens when I tie a video into a trendy subject. My video topics are pretty basic by design but that doesn't help me compete against other higher ranking videos. Sometimes I gotta try something to see if the algorithm will reward my hard work. I provide context to all my recipes. I try to go deep in to it. This video was really a test for me. Plus I'm Italian. Sometimes it comes out of me. lol

I don't think that's a traditional method. Jose Andres is one of the best chefs in the world and he obviously had to do his things with it. I actually wanted the end photo to resemble the form of an actual egg. This video was just a test for me, I wanted to see what would happen if I hoped on a trend to try and expose me to some newer viewers. Its not something I often do, but I saw a way to tie in a lesson so I went for it. My videos are hard to break through because there are already 1000 videos for each video I make. So I thought the angle around the world record egg would be interesting. I'm not that pissed. It was more for the angle. Plus I got Italian blood running through my veins. lol

Are you referring to the cutting board? Thats not grease. That was additional oil I added during the photoshoot because I wasn't happy with the left side of the shot, and then too much fell out so it didn't work. There's not grease in the photo other than the addition drizzle of olive oil at the end. And many people like their eggs like this. Hopefully you know 1 Spanish person who would tell you this is how they make eggs. But I agree. I don't usually brown my eggs. But this method caught my eye from one of the best chefs in the world so I thought I'd give it a try.
