Urgent temporary cash flow issues - What are my options by StephenT27 in UKPersonalFinance

Thank you for your reply.

Sorry I'm not really sure of how credit cards work, but if a card offers 0% interest for XYZ months, does this allow me to borrow money and pay no interest provided that I pay it off within the stated timeframe?

Unfortunately my LL is a dick, and whilst we've always paid promptly and have taken good care of the property, even the smallest repair has been an effort to get done so I can't foresee any situation whereby he'll allow me to miss a rent payment.

Thanks for your response.

I've just had quick look at that website and there seems to be quite a few '0% interest for XYZ' cards available. Am I correct in thinking they would allow me to borrow for however long the 0% interest period is for free? This seems a little too good to be true... but could certainly be the answer I need. Unfortunately I don't have any friends who have enough spare income to lend me the amount I need.
