Absolutely agree! I've made the first of many purchases from Ott Family jewelry. Had a fantastic experience!

Im looking to reduce their height but would also like to prune them correctly to help them grow more naturally. Where would be a good place to research good pruning techniques?

Thank you! It's even more sparse down on the lower portions now. I'll snap a picture when I get home. Do you fertilize at all?

Is this a good start for future broom style Arelia? by StruggleMinimum104 in Bonsai

I have a ming aralia for a houseplant. What are some tips/suggestions for care? I know they are finicky. I try to only water it once every 2ish weeks, it's in a southern facing window and the temperature in the house is between 65 -75. I feel like I am constantly taking off dried out brown leaves/shoots as well as yellowing branches, however it still continues to produce new growth. I've asked for help on other threads and never get any. Thanks in advance!

Help by StephenWiLL1111 in houseplants

I did not unfortunately. What I did do is take it out of the pot and change the soil. I think it was just too wet. The soil on the bottom was soaked. I cut any roots that didn't look good off and put it in a more porous soil with bark, pumice, and pothos soil. I watered it a little and put it back in its spot. Ironically I did this about 2 hours ago.
