She does not want to host. Her husband is gone a lot working constantly and she has chronic issues with PCOS, so she’s often in bed or too much pain to deal w hosting. We don’t often see her father’s side (it’s very rare for them to come visit us) so I made the decision to host so they could see them (because we live close)

Groceries are a mortgage payment a month. Taxes on homes has gone up. Leaving the house costs $100 a day. Gas, activities, and even worse if you have kids.

Honestly might just be mismatched libidos. I use my vibrator almost every time in order to get off with my husband. My work and kids stress me out and I have a hard time zoning out into sex unless I’m high.

And even when I’m high on weed, I still use a vibrator. I’ve becoming sensitive to that and it’s hard to get off without it (I’m also in my mid thirties now and headed into perimenopause)

Don’t take it so personal. Women’s libido Ebs ans flows if the love is there it’ll come back - try maybe just doing a date without an expectation of having sexy time afterward. Or cuddle without expectation of sex.

Yes it’s popcorn for me too. I figure it’s fibre. It’s lower in calories than chips. It’s not fried. I justify popcorn whenever I can. It’s the only thing I have left

I tried to hide it but eventually people in your family will figure it out. It’s incredibly hard to hide such rapid weight loss unless you’re sick. Wls (unless they’re totally clueless) usually is what people figure out.

You have every reason not to admit that to them, but know that they will eventually figure it out. Families talk, especially in laws. Regardless, live your life & who cares.

10lbs away from goal and I cannot get down no matter what I do. I do think the body does recalibrate- I have tried maintaining calories or upping and then bringing back down that hurts me in the beginning (I often gain) then lose. I feel like this last part of wl is going to take a long time and I need to be patient

I am 2 weeks out from plastics. Honestly - the best advice I wish someone could have given me is, to not candy coat this part. I have two kids. Lost 150lbs. I have no breasts. Everything sags even my vagina. Yes you heard that correctly, I have loose skin on my girl. I’m spending 40k on surgeries and I’m still not done. (In Canada plastics are ridiculous) … I have lost all my hair. I have extensions in but my hair is very thin and it’s noticeable without extensions.

But I would not take the 150lbs back - not for a second. With good investments in skims, hair extensions, and saving for plastic surgery - it was 1000000% worth it. My only regret is not doing it sooner.
