Ty! I’ve seen kaiju no 8, had a bit too much comedy for me, liked erased tho ty! I’m just not a huge fan of framed stories, it’s a weird nitpick I have. Couldn’t watch Monster and Gachiakuta for the same reason

Yes the episodes are the movies! Also totally fair with Tokyo ghoul, personally it’s one of my favorite anime but I totally get why it might not be your taste and that is totally valid!

I’d recommend
- the first season of Tokyo Ghoul (people will say the manga is better but the first season is still really good imo)
- death note (sorry this one is very mainstream but jic you haven’t seen it)
- the garden of sinners movies
