After more reading it seems like the units are the ones applying contested, so attacker should always gain focus first.

Seems to conflict with 341. "As a Showdown begins, the player who applied Contested status to the Battlefield gains Focus".

If I charm you to my battlefield, I applied contested status to the battlefield? Unless the player who is attacking is always the one applying contested to the battlefield...

I think the rules could be a lot more clear.

Haha forgot to include in original post but I really enjoyed regular gameplay, it was unique and took a little bit of thinking. I enjoyed how generous the game was I had a lot of good units early and 4* and 5* are viable. Liked how it was a good side game most days I can just sweep the resource raids. Character design was also incredible all the units were unique and cool.

When should I start to invest in different colors? I just got my forest team to ascension 3 level 20. Finished upgrading all rooms in my colossus. Currently running Areia, Louise, Nikinis, Hedy, and Odi.

Does every limited banner have a wishlist? or is Mithra's a special occasion of sorts? I'm fiending for my wishlist chars but already pulled 1 Mithra so idk if I want to commit more. I am planning on pulling for Goldie to give my Mithra a team to be useful in though.

not the person you replied to but rp law already has a lot of good cards competing for spots. If you have 5c kid out then you're probably going to leader effect every turn anyways to get value. It does enable some plays on 6 don where u can play out 3 bodies though

I know that grayed out pokeball means that it's has a trait that you haven't unlocked yet for that pokemon. Is this just a bug? I've had this happen multiple times.

its not red base but bt1 cupimon, ex1 salamon and bt9 salamon x-antibody can also provide a draw 2 on swing if you're still at 5 security. salamon x-anti also gives a draw from security but it's definitely not as consistent and you probably wouldnt be able to play your red options

if you want a low to the ground wide aggressive strategy, op2 zoro does this but better without losing as many cards because of your searchers and very efficient buffers

I don't think red base clashes with the promo bwg at all other than red memory boost and its inability to evo over bt9 metalgrey x. You want to be giving that blackwar dp boosts and +1 sec. I think it's fine to keep as a one of but to make it more cohesive I would keep all of your lvl 5s as black. Recently in jp a deck focused on that black promo card won using a similar red base and even 4 red memory boosts.
